Our first course we did not order but was served as an amuse bouch Cream of tomato soup with chilli creme fraiche, garnished with lambs lettuce absolutely beautiful.
My Starter was scallops cooked to perfection sat on a thin slice of compressed pineapple with heat from the chilli with diced pickled cucumber and a lime and ginger dressing, the taste was awesome. My husband had king prawns with curry lentils, green peas and coriander he said they were brilliant.
Main - I had the turbot, the skin so crisp and tasty with the flesh succulent. The chilli hint with the crunchy but cooked vegetables was excellent, along with the cooked red peppers in Provence herbs and chervil pesto. My husband had the mingon of beef cooked as requested and loved it, he commented that the pomme puree was so creamy that I had to try some and it was very good.
We had a lovely evening and were well looked after by attentive but not over bearing staff on an evening when they were very busy. Very well done. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
