Very nicely designed, ultra-modern, cool look, with v friendly staff to match. But a coffee machine that needs your electronic room card to operate? Movement-controlled lighting in the rooms might seem like a great idea but switches do the job better. Glass-walled bathrooms never work for me, either. I really liked this hotel but I'd personally be happier with fewer touch-screen operated gadgets.

Room Tip: Back of the hotel is nicer

Dear Londontraveller01,

thank you very much for your stay and very good review. Hope you really enjoyed your stay.
Few words of explanation: room key card in the coffee machine is needed to avoid unauthorised usage, we work on some improvements regarding comfort and lights.

Hope to meet you again in PURO,

regards,

Lukasz Piekarski

This place is great, the staff are all helpful and very friendly. Hotel is modern, extremely modern, yet room feels cosy. Touch panel is intuative and simple to use. Close to the town with a short walk. Great place to stay. Will defiantly stay again.

Although it ain't cheap every night here is definitely an extremely esthetic experience. Right from the start you can see that every money was invested to make this hotel ultra modern. The design, intelligent technology which serves you everywhere, the reception. You enjoy every moment. Add to this well-trained staff and you'll have it all: very clean, silent rooms (also silent air-conditioning), underground parking (unfortunately costs extra 60 PLN) and nice breakfast (paid extra 45 PLN). You're planning to come to Wrocław ? You've got to try this hotel. You will like it ! One thing I couldn't find in my room though: disposable tissues. Might have been somewhere... Or not ?

A mate and I got a great deal to stay here for a couple of nights, and after initially struggling to come to terms with the technology and the fact that the bathroom contains see through glass, we desperately wanted to extend our stay. Don't worry, there is a curtain to maintain bathroom privacy.

The beds were insanely comfortable, the location was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole place was nice and quiet. The breakfast seemed fairly pricey for what it was so we went into town for that and there were plenty of places to eat for cheap.

Puro gets my recommendation though. But it's probably not for the technophobes.

As it often happens - the higher your expectations, the greater your disappointment...
ROOMS
The hotel appears to be a modern proposal for business and leisure customers and indeed, the first impression is great! Self-service whenever possible from arrival to departure, tablet-steered rooms, glassy toilet, modern interior. Geek's paradise! The first impression: WOW! But:
- rooms are very small, it's a bed only with a very small wardrobe, no place for suitcases,
- practically no business corner - a tiny table where a regular notebook barely fits,
- no intuitive operation and poor operation manual - when everything is operated through a tablet fixed on a wall, the instructions should be written for a dummy; despite that, two 30 y-olds had problems with A/C and lights operation and needed to get human help to have things working properly
- a glassy toilet is classy, and though it requires getting used to, we found it a really interesting solution... but at night, when you need to use it and suddenly, with your every move, all lights in a room FLASH! It gets annoying that when you need to pee at night, you need to wake your partner up...
- the feeling is spoiled by holes in the curtain, a huge hole in the wall
- A/C - despite setting it to the minimum during a day, the room was hot and steamy, which was odd, because corridors were nicely cooled and very pleasant. It was really unpleasant to stay in a room. But the worst appears at night - air outlets are placed directly above your head when you sleep and blows cold air on your sinus. Two days spent in conditions like this - a runny nose and permanent headache guaranteed. And you can't turn it off! Even despite turning the A/C off, the air blows constantly.
SERVICES:
- rooms service - all towels were always replaced - a terrible waste! But missing soap or shower gel were not filled up, only upon request
- bicycles - though offered free, there are only a few and cannot be booked. And they are in terrible technical condition, cry for maintenance!
- parking - large parking availble in a basement, but since it is open for public, it is often crowded and people park outside parking locations. No wonder, if you paid for it in advance and find no free space in the end. And it is very expensive.
Bright points:
BREAKFASTS - one of best I've ever had
COFFEE - available free for hotel guests
LOBBY - classy and pleasant

Summing-up: all this would be OK in a hostel, but not in a hotel for 100€/night!

Dear Robert O,

thank you very much for the reservation and the opinion shared via TA portal.
We are very sorry for the inconveniences you've met during the stay.
I know that it's not good explanation but we are working on very high occupancy level and unfortunately sometimes some technical equipment like A/C refuses to obey.
I can only promise that if you give us a chance and visit us again,
you won't be dissapointed.

We loved this place so much for its understated charm, comfortable rooms, fabulous breakfasts and really attentive staff. We've already been back once and we'll be running all our conferences in Wroclaw here

Room Tip: rooms at the back are quieter - not that there's much noise - but the views are more relaxing
