“great weekend”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014

This is a great hotel based just around the corner from the main square, the hotel rooms where very comfortable and not too small and not too big and the air con worked perfectly due to the high temperatures. The atmosphere in the hotel was lacking a bit even though they were showing the world cup matches as it was about 26 degrees outside and all the bars and restaurants where packed for the football. With has so many different restaurants from different cultures you had Polish, Greek, Italian, German, American etc. The sights are so varied with history and the mini tours are going on everywhere and the Sky Tower is well worth the visit to see the views around Breslau.

One night in the Sofitel was not enough. We were familiar with Wroclaw, but had previously only stayed in the Granary.
The Sofitel has a truly international feel to it, from check-in the staff were attentive and helpful. The door man was welcoming and helped with parking in the underground car park.
We were upgraded to a Junior Suite, which was spacious and enjoyed a nice view over to a church roof and steeple. The room was modern, bright, comfortable and clean. The beds were excellent and made us all want to linger before hitting the road to explore Poland the next day.
The hotel’s location to the Town Square makes it the best luxury option close to the action in Wroclaw. We will be back to enjoy it again soon.

Iv'e stayed at Sofitel in Wroclaw in June of this year. Overall, the hotel is absolutely awesome. The stuff, cleanness, location, and restaurant "Pan Tadeusz" was excellent!
My nightmare has occurred when I saw our bathroom. My friend and I have stayed in a handicap room with two beds. What a shock I went through, when I saw a glass door to our bathroom. I should mention, a completely see-through glass door... To add to it, the toilet was right inside the door... (No privacy at all)! The walk-in shower had no shower curtain!!!! I just wanted to ask, who had designed those bathrooms? By the time I was done with showering, all of my stuff all over the bathroom (especially sink-shelf) area was totally wet. Another problem was the poor ventilation (or should I say, non of it).

The hotel is right in the old town, but you dont hear the street noise. Rooms are nice, but bathrooms too small for a 5 star standard. The breakfast was great, especially that many Polish specialities were served (oscypek, kabanos, herrings, cottage cheese). Unfortunately the service at the brekfast was a bit confused as I did not receive the coffee I ordered:( But I think that may happen anywhere. Overall the service was very good. Highly recommended.

Located just off the old market square, this hotel got things right.
Welcoming staff who even manage to bring a smile to little children's faces when checking in at 11pm with a lovely little teddy each, and who keep the parents happy by allowing us to keep the room 'till past afternoon nap time.
Nice, spacious rooms with all modcomfs, good spa with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna ... the first two also accessible for kids.
Magnifique breakfast with freshly made omelettes and crepes on request.

This hotel was in a great location very close to the town square and all the action. The room was clean with very comfortable bed and pillows. Unfortunately dinner was included in our package and dinner was awful. The salad was good, but the main meal of pork was dry, tough and was served with buckwheat. There was a good selection for breakfast, but the male staff member cooking the eggs was very rude. Also, One of our party asked for poached eggs and didn't get them. Unfortunately, this will be what we remember about this hotel. This is a pity, as all other staff were very good.

The hotel is in the heart of the old town beside the Market Square where you will find all the restaurants, café and entertainments … this is main place for night life in Wroclaw … the hotel is great, rooms are big with comfortable beds .. Taxis are just lining in front of the hotel. However, if you are after shopping, you will need to walk around 10 Min to the nearest shopping center which is a actually a big good one beside Mercure Hotel, Sofitel Wroclaw is a good choice if you are visiting Wroclaw
