“Good location”
Reviewed 7 September 2006

Just returned from a 3 day break at the Mercure Panorama following favourable comments on trip advisor. Modern and very clean hotel which was undergoing bar enlargement and improvements during our stay although this did not alter our good impression of the hotel overall. Smallish but stylish rooms with excellent shower incorporated in the spotless bathroom proved very good value for money.
Very friendly, polite staff attended to our breakfast needs and, unusually, there was a plentiful supply of hot fresh coffee for those like me who find most hotels unable to accomplish this. Shame there was only one small Philips toaster for the whole dining room (but a minor criticism only).
Wroclaw itself is undergoing major road improvements including around the hotel but try not to let this put you off as the old town is lovely. Travelled with husband and two late teen offspring who are notoriously hard to please but we all really enjoyed our stay at the Panorama.
Food and drinks (but not wine) very cheap but don't expect any clothes bargains as these were the same price as in the UK. Recommend this hotel for a short city break to Wroclaw but without young children as there will be little for them to do.

We booked the Mercure Panorama for my stag party and found it to be a fantastic accomodation. It worked out at around £45 a night and the rooms were clean, modern and well kept.

However, the best thing about this hotel is its position. Although not on the square it's a mere two minute walk to the square where an array of restaurants, bars and clubs can be found.

There's also a food/shopping mall next door to the hotel which was nice were you ever to need emergency supplies! Even in hotel, the minibar was surprisingly cheap.

If you're going to Wroclaw, I can't reccomend this hotel highly enough.

Room just as I expected with clean bathroom with shower only. Aircon worked well and double glazing kept out street noise so had a good nights sleep. Plus for us was the parking garage with guard. Good breakfast with lots of variety and a surprisingly good meal in their restaurant which has no smoking section. We also tried the shopping centre next door where you could get all sorts for round about £5.
Wroclaw is undergoing a major rebuild especially roads and tramways so it will be interesting to see how this progresses. The road surfaces certainly need it. Shame it poured with rain the whole time we were there which limited the sight seeing!

I have just returned from staying at the Mercure Panorama in Wroclaw Poland. The hotel is very nice, clean and the location could not be better. I would certainly return to the City of Wroclaw and would not hesitate to use this hotel. The only downside was when we arrived they did not recognise the booking we had made with lastminute[--] even though the hotel had taken a deposit three weeks previous, which was denied. I have never had any problems using this site before and would not hesitate to use it again.

Just come back from a weekend in Wroclaw where we stayed at the Mercure Panorama. Had a brilliant time and the hotel was excellent. Great location, just a short walk to the main square and next door to a good shopping centre - also the tram stop was just outside. The room was spotlessly clean and had almost everything we needed - just missing tea and coffee but we survived! There's a mini bar in the room which is well stocked and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back to Wroclaw again as it's a lovely city and would book this hotel without a doubt. Really good value for money.

Just returned from spending 2 nights in Wroclaw. The hotel is in a really good position with all the major sights within walking distance, and right next door to a massive new shopping centre. Typical chain hotel, clean and comfortable. Room a reasonable size, bathroom quite large with a really good shower. Staff pleasant and helpful. Didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked nice. Wroclaw is wonderful for a short break. Would definately consider going again.
