“A good choice for a weekend in Wroclaw”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2010

This hotel is centrally located and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast has a good selection of juices, fruit, meats, etc. Breakfast is served is a very nice and stylish dining room. The reception staff was friendly and helpful and all of them spoke English.
The only negative thing is that our non-smoking room smelled like tobacco (previous occupants apparently didn't care that it was a non-smoking room). We could have asked to change rooms but didn't want to bother, etc. The breaksfast buffet can run out of items when there are a lot of guests eating at the same time. Items are replenished but sometimes not quickly enough...Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the Art Hotel for a midweek one nighter at the end of a business trip. It is a lovely hotel, smallish in size. In fact, it was probably boutique before boutique was invented! It is located just off Wroclaw's main square and is ideal for either weekender city breaks or as a business venue.
The room are not a huge size but very well finished and shower facilities were very good. I did not eat at the hotel at evening but the breakfast was top class in a very impressive room. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall, the Art Hotel had a bit of class about it!

We stayed at the Art Hotel in Wroclaw for three nights. Put simply we could find nothing to criticise at all. We had a very lovely room at the front of the hotel - not great views, but the room itself was large, well equipped and with a really good bathroom. The location of the hotel could not be better - five minutes walk from the old square and with a number of bars and resturants only a few yards away. All the staff we encountered in the hotel were friendly and exteremely helpful. Breakfasts were extensive, with a very good selection.

The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. We didnt eat in the hotel in the evening, although we were tempted to do so as it looked very good with a lot of interesting things on the menu - perhaps a little expensive however, as eating out in Wroclaw is very cheap by UK standards.

We had booked directly with the hotel (seemed to be the cheapest option) after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. The hotel contacted us before arrival (nice touch I thought) to see if they could help with anything - arranged for us to be met at airport by taxi (15 euros)which was great, espeically as our flight was significantly delayed.

Wroclaw is a really good place for a short break, Everyone we met was so hlepful and friendly. Lots of places to eat and drink. Try it and try the Art Hotel.

Our 2 night stay at the Art Hotel was faultless. Friendly reception staff – a beautiful room - go for the junior suite it is lovely. Separate sitting area with sliding doors and wonderful bathroom (although the shower was not wall mounted which did mean juggling with shower and soap).

Lovely restaurant and good breakfast (although the bacon and scrambled eggs were not great) but lots else to choose from, the room its served in is also wonderful.

Perfect location just 2 minutes to the Main Square. Wroclaw is lovely – especially in the snow. Keep your eyes peeled for the gnomes!

On a short trip to Wroclaw my daughter and myself stayed for 2 nights at the Art Hotel and i must say we have stopped before in 5 star hotels that could learn a thing or two from the Art Hotel,it was beautiful. The hotel was spotless throughout, the food was excellent both the breakfast and the evening meal in the restraunt. We found the prices to be very reasonable this includes the drinks. From the hotel it is only a couple of minutes walk to a good selection of bars and restraunts with shops also nearby. We visited in december and the christmas decorations were just being put up,with a magnificent display giving a real christmas atmosphere,i wish we could have stopped longer to see them finished. This was my first trip to Wroclaw and i enjoyed it immensely and i would highly recommend both the Art Hotel and Wroclaw.

Stayed for three nights during December to visit the Christmas market. The hotel is perfectly situated just a couple of minutes walk from the main square. There are numerous restaurants and bars nearby. The room was well furnished, comfortable and very clean, as was the whole hotel. Lovely bathroom and shower. The choice and quality of breakfast was excellent. All of the staff we experienced were polite, friendly and helpful. My only, minor, complaints were that the hotel was so hot even with the heating turned off in the room! We also experienced some noise in the early hours from outside as we were located on the front of the hotel. Friends who were located on the side of the hotel did not hear a sound.
Overall the hotel was excellent and I would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to friends.

I have to admit I have never been to Poland before. I didn't know what to expect other than having seen some nice photos on the internet of Wroclaw, and thinking it would be a nice unusual place to visit. I arrived at the Hotel not at all expecting the Hotel to look as nice as their website. It is commonplace for a hotel to take photos of only the best spots of a Hotel and to over glamourise a place out of all recognition. This was not the case with this hotel it was just as nice as the Art hotel website suggests in it's website. The website gives a very accurate picture of what the hotel is actually like. It is situated in a lovely spot of Wroclaw right bang in the heart of it all you come out of the front door and within a minute your in the main town square and all the nicest places to visit in wroclaw. I reccomend in fact the Eco tour that is available to take a ride around the town centre whilst you are there. The details of this tour are availiable at the hotel lobby but if not then you will see the Eco tour vechicle in the main square just a minutes walk away. Every detail of this place has been looked after. There are flowers and floral arrangements everywhere. That was one of the things I noticed most about this hotel the attention to detail. The hotel was spotlessly clean I never saw one shabby or dirty spot in this place, not one. Just about everything was perfect. The room looked spotless with cleanliness, the bathroom perfect, not so much as a chip in a tile nothing at all out of place. The whole room felt fresh, clean and perfect. Very nice detail to decor also and a very nice sized room too. I was very impressed with the housekeeping of this place. I have worked in 5* hotels myself and this one is way up there in terms of how clean and well kept it is. The breakfast an important part of every hotel stay was good too. The breakfast that came as a part of the room price package was a delight. They serve a morning breakfast buffet that is an absolute delight. A full cooked breakfast along side a full continental breakfast ,as well as a wide range of polish breakfast fare, quite lovely, a very civilised way to start the day, and you could eat as much or as little as you like. I on one morning was not feeling up to going down for breakfast and had the in room breakfast for a small extra fee. It was really very nice too. I only had dinner once in the hotel as room service and that was very nice too. Prices really very good too. In terms of the public spaces in this hotel all the dining rooms and restaurant/bar spaces are quite charming. They have a gym, more of a weights room actually, a florists and as I remember a hairdresser at the side of the hotel, not forgetting the beautiful little garden room also. It really was quite a lovely hotel. You could look out the window in the bar area say and you'd see the lovely window boxs that line the front of the hotel or in the evening the lamp light street quite charming. The attention to detail in this place is a real treat. The lobby is not an overly dramatic area as you enter the hotel but looks quite business like and formal, but at the same time smart, very clean and well kept. This hotel has charm though. I did my trip in the month on November and the whole hotel was filled with autum/winter floral displays, dotted here there and everywhere. The staff every single one of them I encountered were super polite and helpful. When I booked this hotel I was told by the reception staff they would look after my every need and I was I have to admit to thinking oh what a nice person, but will they live up to that, that is quite a statement to make. Well I can honestly say they did. I don't have not even one bad comment to say about this place.
