You walk into Wroclaw's main square and you see this amazing fairytale building of towers and porches and Baroque noodly bits, and you think: "I bet it costs a fortune to go in there" - so you go to a great pub like Kontynuacja instead. But the Old Town Hall is FREE! You can stroll around beautiful old rooms, looking at impressive wood carvings and furniture from the last 700 years. There are a few exhibits (mostly plates) but the notes are in English and there's an interesting history of how the building developed. Worth 30 mins of your time. And it's free.
