This hotel was a gem, close to the market square and centre of town, but in a quiet area opposite a large museum. Surroundings may appear a little bleak but once inside the hotel, reception and corridor and stairwell areas are spotless. We had a twin room which was very clean and lots of room for storage etc. bathroom was good with plenty of hot water, powerful shower and decent toiletries. Karolina on reception was very helpful in particular and organised taxis for our group of nine persons in advance of our arrival. The breakfast supplied was probably the best I have experienced on a city break in this standard of hotel. Plenty of choice and replenished regularly. We had a twin room, no more doubles available, and the twin beds were quite narrow and far apart. Not a problem for us but would maybe not suit if you like a large bed. Our friends had double rooms and these were also very spacious though all rooms were slightly different. If I return to Wroclaw, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: At the front overlooking the museum on a higher floor is a nicer view. Other side of the hotel, may be away from any traffic noise but view is not particularly good.

After moving out of a more expensive and elegant hotel a few blocks away, and having read other reviews, I was expecting a clinical atmosphere and minimal comfort. What a pleasant surprise to be greeted almost like a friend (I had stopped a day ahead to ask a few questions) by a very helpful and intelligent staff. Luckily for me, I had come for the New Horizons Film Festival, so having one of the key venues only a few yards away was a great convenience. I strongly recommend this hotel for fest goers! Yes, I admit I loved the music at night across the street and the opportunity to exchange ideas with festival visitors from all across Europe. And yet I found the hotel pleasantly calm and peaceful. It's unusual to find a lot of useful window space in most urban hotels yet my room at the Centrum Dikul had very large windows that filled the room with light during the morning and offered a pleasant view of a garden patio. I would happily come back. It's a great place to get some work done as well and the breakfasts are a treat. The location is convenient to many attractions in the Old Town. It seemed they are really trying (both young men working at the reception were excellent). Being on a very small side street was also a plus.

Room Tip: Ask for what you need and let the well-informed staff try to find a match for what you are looking for (view, quiet or not, etc.)

Basic yet very good value for money. Clean and well equipped with friendly staff.
Good location just a short walk from the city centre.
Only drawback was that my television did not have any English channels available.
I will definitely stay here again.

While staying in Dikul I felt like in hospital which it was some time ago. Sliding doors in the bathroom, old tiles on the floor. There was somebody's hair on the floor...
The hotel has no atmosphere. You can spend there one night and that's it. Don't choose this hotel if you want to feel like home or spend your holidays. There are better places in Wrocław (see my other reviews).
Breakfast is good though, with plenty of choice.

This elegant hotel is bright, clean and spacious with welcoming and accommodating staff.
The beds are electric, the courtyard is pretty and the entrance hall grand and impressive.
Breakfast was superb, with a huge variety of options to choose from.
Above all, the help provided by the reception staff was above and beyond the call of duty- my personal thanks to them for a top class, reasonably priced stay, in a City well deserving of hosting "City of Culture" in 2014.
