“A renowned, budget food franchise”
Reviewed 17 April 2013

A great place to eat some very good pasta at a ridiculously low price, favored by students and young people.

“This is not pasta, but is good and cheap if you're hungry”
Reviewed 3 April 2013

The food they serve has very little in common with italian real pasta. But if you are in a hurry and you don't have money to spend, it can be a good solution.

“It is a fast food restaurant for pasta... it's not bad. Cheap!”
Reviewed 22 November 2012

Piccolo is not a high class Italian restaurant, nor does it try to be. It 'does what it says on the tin' - it's a cheap, quick place for having something to eat - and i would say "it's fine" - it's not good, it's not bad, but it's a hot satisfying meal. Generous portions, plastic bowls and cutlery and service without a smile (as it is custom in Poland - lol). If you're living on a buget, can't be bothered to cook or want something fast, it's perfect! Just don't expect something high-class, it's kind of like a bar mleczny (milk bar) which only serves pasta. I like it.

P.S. It's a chain - there are lots of them around the city!

“The best Italian fast food in Poznan”
Reviewed 26 June 2011

Anytime we visit Poland, Piccolo is on our 'must-go' list for a quick lunch. Really good value for money - I do not think you can get anything better for 1 pound - as that is the price of the small bowl of pasta (literally - probably even less - 95 p as my lovely daughter has corrected me), but the other hand you have very limited options in the menu: 3-4 (not so much) different spaghettis and a few fruit salads available. Although they are a chain of quite a few diners - they have quite consistent quality of the food offered in different locations. To summarize: place to go for not expensive, quick and edible lunch.
