Not sure if this place is normally rented out, we were there for 2 nights recently for Ireland’s misadventures in the Euros. There are 4 bedrooms, we had one large room: 3 single beds, towels, a wardrobe, big screen TV, balcony, no curtains, shared bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, free wifi (not great reception in the room), on the third floor with no lift is what you got for €775 (3,098 Zloty) for 2 nights during the Euros. It’s alright value at €129 pp per night; given was only about ten minutes to the Old Square.
One of the other rooms was en-suite, so the bathroom is shared between the other three rooms. It really wasn’t a problem, as the other guests were up later than us, and thank god collapsed asleep shortly after their arrival back later than us.
There are no staff permanently on site, so you have to phone to get the keys. The cleaning lady is usually in and out during the morning. Technically check-in is after 2pm, but they arrived earlier to meet me - but it meant I had to wait around about an hour for the girl to arrive.
No complaints really, bit pricey obviously but served us well for our trip.
Ptasie Radio Cafe (http://www.ptasieradio.com/)
Make sure to check out the really lovely Ptasie Radio Café literally beside the apartment. Breakfast is due to start around 8:30, but the chef takes a little longer to get in. The waitress is happy to serve tea & coffee in the meantime. About €3 for scrambled eggs & bacon/ham with toast. A young arty crowd populate the place from around 10am.
