This attraction is a must see when in Poznan. It's funny and cute. Two mechanical billy goats ram their heads together 12 times at midday. Sounds simple and it is. But it became a symbol for the city and sometimes the simplest things are the best.

This is basically the same location as the Ratusz Poznanski. The goats and great facade painting is a marvel.

If you are in Poznan it's a must see! It's only once a day at midday at the old square where two 'koziolki' (goats) coming out from the main clock tower and hit their head 12 times. I's a main symbol of the city so worth getting up early!

It is only once a day at noon. Rather attraction for younger kids. If you are around town hall, stop for a few minutes to see it, but not necessery go there only for that purpose.

The legend says that after the fire in the town it has been decided to restore the town hall and install a new beautiful clock. Preparations were made, many well know people were to come to visit and feast the occasion. The cook prepared roast but he so much wanted to see the new clock that he left the roasting meat - it burned completely. When he came back and saw it he went to the meadow to bring two somersaults for the meal but when they realized something's wrong they run away to the town hall and started ramming in front of all gathered people. The cook was not punished for what he has done but the new clock was equipped with somersaults insted.
