The stay at the hostel is an adventure in itself (kids love it!) - it's about 10 meters away from the train tracks - so it's not a quiet place (even with windows closed) but it is interesting to observe trains right outside your window. There are some trains passing at night and morning traffic starts around 6am. The trains don't go by too often - a few per hour at the most. The hostel is newly done so it's clean and fresh. The lobby has a train station theme to it and it's very pleasant. The outside of the building looks a bit dodgy but it grows on you once you find out the inside is not run-down. The room we had was very basic - just beds (very hard mattresses) and night stands - no tv, no table. The bathroom was clean - no towels though (you can get some at an extra charge). Breakfast buffet quite simple but decent. Wi-fi internet works fine. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the centre of the centre, however the shabby area nearest to the hostel (some 150 meters) is not well lit at night.
