“Good location but tiny rooms”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 March 2014 via mobile

Very small room, the size of the bathroom of some apartments you can stay in in the center of torun for the same price. Parking is a bit far and not very convenient. Breakfast was ok,Very good pancakes. Room was clean. Good and fast WiFi internet connection. I would rather recommend one of the apartments offer in torun instead.

Ideally situated on the quiet street in the old town, very nice place, clean, warm and comfy.Old, medieval building with modern bathrooms and facilities. Fascinating straits: steep and winding but we got help with luggage and did not mind a bit of exercise. In addition, very nice restaurant with French cuisine. Very good breakfast. All that for a very reasonable rate.

Room Tip: Do not be afraid to ask with luggage and do not the staircase scare you.

The hotel is located in one of the nice streets of Torun, inside the Old Town, 100m from the Main Square. Close to the river, the Leaning Tower and to the transport links as well.
There is an option to park your car with the hotel in restricted places in the street. The bus stop is very close. A bus is a good and cheap way to get to the rail station.
The hotel and rooms are very pleasant in appearance. The style is cute and warm as in the photos. The hotel is clean and well maintained, I stayed there on several occasions and it was always spotless.
Some of the rooms have a view to the street (fairly quiet, except maybe for the weekends), these ones are more sunny and have flowers in the windows. The rest of them have a view to the back yard.
The bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. There can either be a cabin or a bathtub, so check with the hotel if its important to you. The bathtub does not have a screen or curtain, which I think could be addressed.
The beds are comfortable, there is a desk, a TV, tea making facilities. There were also always 2 bottles of water, one sparkling and one still.
There is a nice restaurant in the basement. It is where you take breakfast. There is a buffet with continental choices. You can also have Polish/English style options like fried eggs or sweet pancakes made on order.
It's a very romantic place. The only downside is that there is no lift, request a low floor if you have mobility concerns.

we stayed 1 night during our trip to Baltic area and liked this hotel very much.
Perfect location in the centre of old city, carefully modernized medevial building with ancient furniture to give the guests an atmoshere of by-gone times.
Sumptous breakfast, helpful service and good value for money.

This was such a pleasant and cosy hotel, which was just a stones throw away from the main square. The location was perfect with the rest of the city easily accessible. The decor was dark wood, which added to the gothic architecture the city is famous for. All staff were friendly and spoke very good English.

I stayed in a single room. It was larger than most double hotel rooms in the UK. Very long beds with crisp clean sheets, a television, hi-fi and bottled water. The bathroom was large enough, clean, with a very good power shower.

Breakfast was very good, and just what I would have expected for a 3* hotel. Cereal, bread, meats and cheeses, fruit, juices, tea and coffee and hot food could be easily ordered by speaking to a member of staff. The scrambled eggs were delicious.

I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would stay again when visiting Toruń in the future.

Couldn't have been better located. The staff was professional and always helpful. We took the apartment suite and found it to be very cozy, and tastefully decorated. I wouldn't ask for more. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for 2 nights. Lovely fashionable hotel, very clean, friendly and helpful staff and great location (less than 1 mins walk to Old Town).
On my last day I still had quite a bit to do and did not want to lug my suitcase around. I enquired at reception if I could leave my suitcase after I checked out and they were more than happy to help. My box was tagged and placed in conference room and I went on my merry way. Would definitely stay there again. The single room is quite small but they do not hide that fact- it is just the way it it on the website.
All in all I would definitely stay there again.
