We stayed several nights in Dom Przy Rynku, which is right on New Town Square and an easy walk to Old Town and beyond. Four large windows allowed plenty of sunlight and fresh air. The room also had a dining room table and chairs, a flat-screen TV, a couple of armchairs, and a tropical fish tank. Yes, there are shared bathrooms -- no biggie for us. The bed unfortunately was not very comfortable; even worse, my husband is over 6 ft. and his feet stuck out over the edge. Kitchen and communal dining area on the ground floor were very clean and convenient, including a shared refrigerator. The hostel provides towels and bedding, and will even do small amounts of laundry for a small fee. No elevator. Doors are locked at night, but there's an all-night attendant to let you in. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. Unbeatable value in a beautiful part of the city!
