“A perfect location”
Reviewed 7 June 2012

This was a delightful place to stay. The rooms are on the top floor giving an amazing view out onto the street with the statue in the foreground and football stadium in the distance. The rooms were clean and a good size. The shower was small but worked fine. The hairdryer is an attached dryer to the wall so I would still advise taking your own! Breakfast is as stated - a bread roll with cheese and jam in the corridor. A water cooler is provided in the corridor to give both hot and cold water and there is also a fridge there. The lift is very slow so we only used it when taking luggage up and down. The staff were friendly although their English was very limited. The location is ideal with many restaurants and features within walking distance. Our added excitement was the building of the ITV Euro 2012 studio right outside the hotel. I loved the view, the room and the family feel. I least liked the slow lift and the lack of safety bars on the window.

Arguably the best location in whole of Warsaw. It is located ul Krakowskie Przedmiescie opposite the Royal Palace. The old Wasa king Sygismund III stands outside on top of his column looking into your bedroom. The Hotel has only limited capacity and the worlds slowest lift where you need to press a button all the way up in order to get to the Hotel accomodation on the third floor. Room is spacious and clean with en suite shower and toilet. It is cleaned daily and they give you fresh towels as well. The staff is very friendly but it might help if you knew a few words of Polish. Of course you then have the whole of the Warsaw's old town at your feet and the River views nearby. The hotel is used by the poets and writers for poetry recitals. They have a restaurant downstairs that I suspect has been leased out, but the food is very good. It is Called something like "Literatka". The breakfast is in your room. It is left for you to collect from outside your room. It is a simple roll and cheese and jam affair. We were absolutely delighted with the location as sometimes it takes you sometime to locate any sights. We had an extra bonus in the in October Sunday it seemed like a harvest festival with dancing and stalls of goodies on the square. I bought some Christmas presents there.

Room Tip: There are not all that many rooms but as long as you are facing the square you are at the centre of...
