“Thick history”
Reviewed 25 June 2014 via mobile

Not only does this separate old Town from new, but it also shows you how the soldiers protected themselves from invaders. Must see

“Allways worth to having a short look”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

The old walls and fortifications of Warsaw are not so big to spend over 2 hours during the visit - it's more or less 10 minutes and everything is visited.
But still worth to have a quick look

“Fairytale Photo Op”
Reviewed 19 January 2014

The Barbican is a red fortification complex in Old Town Warsaw. It is so beautiful, it reminded me of the castles of the fairy tales I used to read as a child. It is a perfect place for a gorgeous picture.

“A trip back in time”
Reviewed 3 January 2014 via mobile

I love this walk! You go from old town to the walls. We walked them and you can feel the history. Well preserved but some graffiti, which plagues most of Warsaw, detracts from the historical importance. They should clean it up,but otherwise a great view and it conjures up visions of centuries past.

“very nice gate & walls”
Reviewed 22 November 2013

The walls, Gate, the whole fortification is beautiful. You enter the Barbakan gate into the old town and it is pretty cool to walk through the gate as it is pretty impressive. You get the medieval feel as you approach the Barbikan then you enter the gate and you get the colors from the old town. definitely a must in Warsaw
