“Unfortunately still closed Oct 12, 2013.”
Reviewed 12 October 2013 via mobile

You can still see through the gaps of the construction boards but barely.

Don't brother going if you want to see just this. But still worth going to walk the Ogrod Saski (park) next to it.

“Under Renovation”
Reviewed 17 September 2013

Unfortunately this is still under renovation with steel hoarding around it so you can't see it. There;s no point in going if this all you want to see but the park is quite nice around it and worth a stroll.

“A mini-history lesson”
Reviewed 13 September 2013

What is wonderful about this site besides the honor guard, the flowers, the respectful visitors and the park, are the plaques alongside. They list the dates and the descriptions of every conflict that Poland engaged in during its long and tumultuous history. One really cannot help but admire the fortitude of the Polish people as they attempted to fight off invasion after invasion from the Prussians, the Austrians and the Russians in the 19th century, and the Nazis and the USSR in the 20th. One cannot forget as one stands here how Poland was left alone to face the onslaughts of both Hitler's and Stalin's armies.

“Under renovation”
Reviewed 1 September 2013

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is currently in a construction site. It is surrounded by steel temporary fencing. It is almost possible to see through gaps in the sections but is not worth the trouble. The work is expected to finish lat 2013.
