This building on the corner of Prozna Street is a sad reminder to all those slaughtered in the Warsaw ghetto. There are large photos of some of the former Jewish inhabitants covering the windows, which is a fitting reminder. I hope they never demolish this building, but just leave it as it is. It is a much more relevant memorial than some bronze sculpture done decades after the event. Please visit this corner and pay your respects.

The philosopher Wittgenstein said something along the lines "of that we cannot speak, must be consigned to silence". Please TripAdvisor, these are not attractions, can you create a category of memorials/remembrance. Guide people to them, but not to rate them, the memories they hold are too important for that.

This is a building left in its 1940'w state. They put blown up pictures of the people who lived here during WW2 (all Jewish) who were sent to concentration camps and died, on the exterior walls. Just to watch these pictures and to think what these people did for work and fun, how they managed to survive and what would have happened to them if the Natis would not have conquered Poland was a stunning experience. This is a must see memorial.

Really worth the effort of stopping by to appreciate the people who lived here once and in the rest of the ghetto who should never be forgotten.

I'm really glad the building is still standing as a reminder of what happened here so we never forget. Snook round the back too for a peek which was interesting to see.

Took the metro to get here.

It was pouring rain when we arrived at this old building. I would have liked time to sit and contemplate its significance and all the pain/destruction/horror it has seen. Definitely worth a stop, as it's a piece of living history.
