“Nice hotel good facilities”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

Stayed here for a seminar and exhibition which we were one of the sponsors of. Hotel is large, well appointed and comfortable. 30 minutes ish from the airport by Taxi which should cost around 20€. Nice reception area but cold and impersonal service. Room I had was large and nicely laid out and the bathroom had a bath and a shower. I ate in the restaurant and the meal was very good and the selection on the menu was balanced. The wine list was large enough and again not too expensive. The waiters varied from friendly to cool, maybe its a Polish thing. Breakfast was OK but I got the feeling I was interrupting the chefs by asking for eggs. At the end of the stay I took one of the hotel limos back to the airport and they only charged 20€ , the same as the taxis charged so job done there.

It would have got 5 stars had the service been friendlier all around.

Had two very nasty arguments with the front desk crew. Their attitude been very unprofessional, not expected from such a highly rated and expensive place. Breakfast been really nice, gyms great. As long as you are not running into disputes with the crew the place is good. In case you do good luck...

I spent there 2 nights during my stay in Warsaw and was a great experience. Nice hotel with good room equipement, friendly and helpful staff in all sections I met (roomservice, lobby bar, reception). It is not necessary to be Hyatt to make customers happy. Good job.

I spent a night at the Regent Warsaw this week. I've stayed in 10 hotels on short business trips over the last couple of months, and this provided the best overall experience.
My room was a good size and very bright, the bed was extremely comfortable
The bathroom was large, with a huge bath and separate and fabulous rainforest type shower - just what I needed after a 90 minute journey from the airport! It contained lots of products, the lighting was good and there was a proper Braun hair dryer
The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, particularly when we discovered we had the wrong address for our meeting
Good breakfast with lots of variety
A short trip, but this hotel provided me with everything I needed and I'd definitely stay there again

I made a stupid mistake when I arrived at the airport - I was approached by what looked to be an official taxi driver - he was one of a number of guys wearing blue checked shirts...long story...I was charged 200 slotys for my taxi into Warsaw, my colleague who picked one off the rank was charged 40. Not happened to me before, I suppose there had to be a first time.

The Warsaw Hyatt was excellent hotel under super general managers like Josef Krall and Heddo Sieb. Recently Hyatt stoped it's management contract for this hotel for non disclaused reason. The hotel's name was changed to Regent .
I wanted to see what's happening there and chose to stay there for 10 days on my last business trip.
So it is basically the same hotel with same excekkent staff, and excellent service and I must say that they are now trying even harder to prove that they are still an excellent choice for staying in Warsaw.
I fully agree. I have recommended this hotel when it was Hyatt and can recommend it again as Regent, which proves again that the brand is not what makes the hotel but the staff and the service.

Room Tip: Try to get a roo on the club floor.
