My husband, adult son and I stayed at the Meridien Bristol for 3 nights and truly enjoyed our stay! The hotel is very nice. They did a great job refurbishing it. We were upgraded from a triple room to a suite which we're sure made a difference in our comfort and enjoyment! The suite was large, bright, extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hotel location could not be better. It's on a great street with tons of shops and restaurants and within walking distance to the old town. Superb! Free wifi in the lobby was nice although it had limited seating capacity. Breakfast buffet was plentiful but perhaps a little too much for those who enjoy a smaller fare. We ended up having delicious cappuccinos and freshly baked croissants just up the street. The staff was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the Meridien Bristol.

The Bristol in Warsaw is an institution that is linked to Poland's history. It superbly located in the very centre of the historic city. The Presidential palace is the direct neighbour of this vast art nouveau buildin. The original interior decorations by Otto Wagner are evoked by the current refurbishment of the lobby that has a feeling of fin-de-siécle luxury to it. Spacious and quiet rooms on several floors are furnished with style and taste as is the bathroom. The glass-lift (the hotel had a glass lift when it opened) are very efficient despite the largess of the Hotel.
Wifi is available in the lobby for free, you may be able to pick up signal in the room as well. Breakfast buffet is ample, service impeccable - precisely what you'd expect of a hotel like this.
Highly recommended

I've stayed at several hotels in Warsaw since I frequently travel there for business. The Le Meridien is the nicest of them all (compared to the Marriott, Sheraton, Westin and InterContinental). The location could not be better, it's on he nicest road of Warsaw full of shops and cafes - and it's a quick walk to the Old Town. The hotel was recently rennovated and are beautiful and clean. Staff was excellent as well.

I stayed I'm a junior suite (SPG platinum) and my colleague had a "normal" room. My room was spacious, but hers was maybe a little on the small side (perhaps not for European standards though, I am an American and generally our hotel rooms are more spacious than in Europe).

I'd definitely recommend the Le Meridien Bristol. Even if you're on business (the business district of Warsaw is a solid 20-25 minute walk away), I think it's worth the walk/taxi ride to be in one of he nicest hotels/areas.

One of the most traditional hotels in Warsaw, a true local landmark became pretty old over the years - recently undertaken refurbishment yielded excellent results, restoring past glory and well preserving Art Deco/Art Nouveau style. Rooms are like new, even so they carry a little bit too much of furniture; a lot of upgrade opportunities for SPG members, with nice suits; outstanding breakfast, enough for whole day of work. Main drawback, as compared to some of newer hotels in the city is very small/poor SPA & fitness Center, but anyhow improved over pre-refurbishment status.

But what makes it great is the location, 5mins by car from business district, 5mins walking from the Old Town and immediately next to the Presidential Palace (with its balance of pros and cons: probably on of the safest places in the city but also frequent venue to the political manifestation.

Room Tip: If you value view over (extra) calm, get one of outside rooms, especially on the south side

A very grand hotel and has lots of old worldly charm from the restored cast iron lift shafts to the general decor. It was a little disappointing to find the hotel so deserted and quiet but maybe it was just the time period I was staying. Being someone who stays in hotels four nights minimum per week every week I have a little experience of them yet I find this one difficult to rate as it has lots but lacks something and I don't know what that something is. The staff could be a little more helpful and point out the hotel features and Internet options at check in rather than us having to trail all the way back for codes etc.

The Hotel is a magnificent example of 1900 Art Nouveau. The position is perfect, next to the Presidential Palace, 400m from the castle and the old town.
The new refurbished spa is great and the staff are impeccable. The standard room is big, comfortable and very new. You should experience the breakfast in the hotel even if it was a little expensive.
Best choice for quality/price/position....What else?

We were in Warsaw over the Christmas Holidays and just about every restaurant closes on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day except for the hotels. We made the mistake of eating at our hotel (Radisson Central) the night before and it was forgettable. However, if want the absolute best hotel meal in the whole town during the holidays or any other time, then this restaurant at the Bristol Hotel has to be your destination. Elegant decor, fine table settings, and first class service, royal atmosphere and incredible food. The coat room and restroom facilities are "stately." The best dining we had while in Warsaw, bar none. My wife had an excellent salad and I had the venison Carpaccio. Superb! That introduction was great but it got better. My tenderloin was just about perfect (I'm spoiled), but my wife's venison tenderloin was phenomenal and absolutely the best ever! The desert (cheese cake) was dreamy. The only down side were the short pours on the vodka martinis and a "pricey" wine list. We visited this only because of the difficulty in finding an open restaurant on Christmas Day, but we were rewarded. Treat yourself while in Warsaw. Make a reservation and you'll agree it's "worth every penny" if you enjoy the good stuff.
