This hotel is located on the east bank of the Vistula river, next to a direct line of tramway linking the hotel to the historical center. The rooms a fairly large, clean and very quiet. The breakfast is good and comprehensive. The staff could learn to smile more...

Had a 3 night stay at the best Western Felix in Warsaw for a wedding. Rooms are large, comfortable and quiet. Good selection for breakfast (eggs, sausages, nice bread, toast & jam, tea & coffee). Dinner was nice but the menu is somewhat limited. The hotel is a good 10 min by tram to the town centre and we didn't see any restaurants near the hotel that we could walk to. The staff was friendly and most spoke English. Don't be put off by the unappealing look of the hotel from the outside as it's lovely inside. It sits off the main road down a small street 2/3 min walk from the tram stop (line 9 or 24). there's a handy Lidl right next to it but there is really nothing else to do around the hotel. I'd recommend this hotel to people who are on a budget looking for good value for money and who don't mind being a bit away from the town centre.

Hotel Felix
Looks lots better from inside than the outer concrete shell. Basic, clean room. We didn't get a king size bed as requested but sometimes sleeping apart together isn't too bad. Breakfast good but no bacon to be found. Staff nice and helpful. Tram to and from hotel easy as long as you go towards the visible and easy recognisable football stadium. Line 9 and 24. Get yourself on a golden oldie tram before they are replaced by the super modern ugly looking new ones. The new ones do display your next stop but obviously the older trams don’t. Public transport good, just buy a ticket from one of the yellow machines.Your room will be cleaned while you are having your breakfast but also while preparing to go out. Please give us sometimes to get ready especially, with two teenage hair drying girls. The Mac Donald is about a 15 minute walk away and not easy to do without satnav, map or my wife. Taxi back to airport about 40 and about 30 minutes and well worth with luggage hanging around my neck.
Scenic bus tour around the city shows you all the places of their great history but most of it was completely destroyed by the Germans during WWII. Perhaps it would be nice to see how the places looked before as any bus can display a video file on a screen. Now you’re looking at concrete buildings that need some colour to them build during Russian influence over Poland. Best way for me to taste the history is going into one of the antique shops. Shopping itself is perfect for all as many might think Poland as poor but that is far from the truth. Seen better cars here than anywhere else.

Room Tip: Good for anyone who needs a hotel for one or two nights business and pleasure.
