“Wonderful experience, friendly and helpful staff”

Staying at the InterContinental made our first visit to Warsaw even more memorable and pleasant. All members of staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, I asked if we could be on a high floor if my reservation allowed, and we were put in a room on the 39th floor with a beautiful view of the city with a view of the Old town. Very clean. The view from the pool is amazing. Highly recommend. Great value.

InterContinental Warsaw has some great features:
- Prime location, City Center/Central Station, opposite Palais of Culture
- Spacious (bath)rooms, well equiped e.g. Nespresso Machine, Ironing board
- Front desk and Concierge: very friendly and very helpful
- Wellness, Spa and Pool at 43rd floor: professional, great view
- Excellent wining and dining facilities
- There is an ATM in the spacious lobby
- all in all: great value for money

Stayed 4 nights at the InterContinental Warsaw which turned out to be a great choice. Front desk and concierge are very friendly and very helpful, checking in and out was speedy. Concierge came with good recommendations for restaurants in walking distance. Had one night dinner at the in-house "Down Town" restaurant. Unfortunately their highly-praised restaurant Platter was closed due to holiday, which was a pitty.
Room and bathroom are spacious and well equiped; bathroom has separate bath tub and shower. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. Had a room on the 35th floor i.e great view ! Room featuers are: Nespresso machine, TV, AC, safe, ironing board etc.
As mentioned above, the location is prime. It is however a brisk walk to the old town, the historic center.
Have been to the Spa twice and have enjoyed the excellent massage and professionalisme of the therapist .
Breakfast was great, the in-house bar however is in need for an overhaul; outdated interior and depressive.
All in all great place, great service and highly recommended.

The accomodations was vere pleasing. Polite staff, clean rooms. Breakfast was good as well. And the location gave us the possibility to walk around with a short distance to shopping, the Old Town and other Museums.

Stayed here for three nights on city break. Easy to get to from Modlin Airport using Modlin bus. Bus stops only five minute walk away. Hotel lovely big rooms and huge beds. Great choice at breakfast. Good location for seeing all Warsaw sights and great shopping centre nearby.

Room Tip: Ask for higher floor

The room had a great size, was super clean and the bathroom was impeccable.

The view from our window of Palac Kultury i Nauki was fantastic.

Be sure to check the pool out on the top floor. Best views ever.

The concierge was extremely helpful in planning our stay. He gave great recommendations for dinner and things to do in the old town. Thank you.

Our hotel of choice in Warsaw.
Stayed there several times during the past 10 years. Just returned from 3 days 27-30 July (room 3408) and 2 days 1-3 August (room 3611).
Key reasons for choice:
1. very close (about 100 metres) to Warszawa Centralny, the main railway station and the arrival point from Chopin Airport either by train S3 or bus 175 (fare PLN 3.60)
2. excellent breakfast buffet on 1st floor with super choice of fishes, meats and breads, though slightly less good this time on fruit (no red summer fruits or berries)
3. efficient friendly staff throughout - in restaurant and on front desk
4. 15 metre pool on the 43rd floor
5. Walk-in showers in bathrooms
6. Spacious, comfortable rooms with all facilities inc iron and coffee machine. Good hanging space
Slightly minor points:
1. Upgraded rooms have only a large bed (no twins) but if you ask for two duvets, you can sleep independently
2. Automatic change of bedlinen and towels daily - so no mechanism to save energy for the environment

We stored a suitcase for the two days we were absent from the hotel. This was efficiently retrieved on our return

Room Tip: The higher the floor, the better the view
