“Memorial is important; the new museum is better”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2014

If you're in Warsaw, you just have to go to pay your respects, and it's near the wonderful museum of the uprising. BUT, if you go after October 2014, you must, must, must go to the new Museum of Jewish Life. It is 50 yards from the memorial, and it will be spectacular. I happened to get a pre-opening tour, and I promise that both the subject matter and the way it's presented will amaze you. Projectors, films, hands-on activities all tell the story of 1000 years of Jewish life in Poland. Very uplifting.

“In memory of the fallen.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

The museum is not open yet. But there are monuments to remember the fallen. And a good place to have a moment of silence.

“Definitely worth the stop! ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 June 2014 via mobile

This monument is an ironic peice of history you must see. The marble used was originally purchased by Nazis to make a monument about the rise of the third Reich. However, after the war Poland purchased this marble and used it for the opposite, to signify power and love in a time of despair and hate.

“Not much to see”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2014

Basically there are few meters of a wall inside a patio. I visited for its symbolic value, not because I expected it would be beautiful or impressive.
