Had lunch (dinner) - unusual surroundings - I would never choose to dear to go there but we were assured by few people that it is worth it. And it was. Great representation of typical Polish cooking, fair prices, pleasant décor and service. Real off putting surroundings outside - best to visit at night or with your eyes closed. Reminded me of riads in Marakech- unassuming outside- grat inside. And a rare find in the Stoklosy area.

We wanted to eat some typical Polish food with no splurge and also go to some previously not visited. From outside this place does not promise a lot but the moment you enter you notice that this is great place to stay. It has very nice decoration and wall paintings so you really feel like on the country side although you are in the center of apartment district in Warsaw. The food was delicious. We tried placek and zeberka (ribs), which turned out to be one of the best we ever had. I really recommend this place and was amazed that so few people were there (it seems it still has to be discovered by the Ursynow locals). Location is convenient - just 2 minutes from Ursynow subway station.

Tucked far away from Warsaw tourist traps and shopping mall fast food, this authentic Polish restaurant offers tasty traditional food, friendly service and nice atmosphere at reasonable cost. Started with 3 kinds of herring - couldn't be better- and had as main course potato pancake stuffed wuth vegetable ragout and sour cream on the side. Generous portion, tasty and fresh, not greasy at all. Free WiFi.

It is close to my place and ever closer to my parents, just a few stos from Metro Ursynow. The popular "peasant" style inside and they offer mainly Polish traditional dishes. Sól if you look for good pierogi (dumplings) with various fillings, good meats in traditional style and similar kinds of food, go there, there sholb be no disappointment. Prices reasonable, many locals formę there (including us).
