Learned a lot about the uprising here. We had a local guide. Interesting how old and new mix in Warsaw.

Amazing tribute to the Uprising. a short walk from Old Town it is worth the walk. Across the street check out the church which is the official cathedral to the Polish Army

You need to see it in concert with the Warsaw Uprising Museum to fully appreciate the work, but it does convey the times.

I really loved this monument not only for the artistic value, but for also what it stands for. It is an important memorial and really shouldn't be missed!

Its a crudely carved and created HUGE piece covering a vast area. Several figures emerge from rubble carrying weapons and looking determined. Set slightly aside is a smaller piece of 3 contemplative figures. Deeply moving area.
