I have to figure out 50 words which is tough because it is a statue, but the setting in Lazienki park is so stunning and serine. We were here about an hour before sunset which I think is the best time of day to be here.

The statue of Chopin is nicely set in a garden area surrounded by terraces of rose bushes and fronted by a small pond. The whole area has numerous benches to sit on and relax. If you can make it on a Sunday, there are free piano concerts.

Near the entrance, there is a black flat stone bench that tells about the statue. It also has a button that you press to play some of Chopin's music. We didn't hear the music as the button was broken when we were there.

Worth a visit if in the area.

The statue of Chopin under a willow tree is set in the middle of a park with terraces of roses growing all around. There are many benches. It would be a good place to listen to a Chopin recording on your iPod, as it is very peaceful. I understand that there are concerts here, but we were not lucky enough to be there for one. A must for lovers of Chopin.

Do go here on Sunday when during the summer months there are free piano recitals at noon and again at 4 pm. Make sure you arrive early if ytou wish to sit down. A must even for non-lovers of classical music.
