My fiance and I stayed at Pension Pletna for two nights in June, 2010.
We had a very pleasant stay considering how inexpensive it was - 40 euros per person including a full breakfast with rolls, cheese, meats, and egg delivered to your room. The innkeepers were very friendly, and there were maps of the area located at the reception desk.
The location was very convenient - the lake is right across the street, and it is just a quick row to the island in the middle of the lake on your own rowboat which you can rent for only 10 euros. It is only about a 15 minute walk along the path beside the lake to get to downtown Bled where restaurants and shops are located. The pension is located on a busy road, but the view of the lake is gorgeous. We were not bothered much by the road noise and heard no noise at all at night with the windows closed.
The room was somewhat small but very clean and cutely decorated. The bathroom was the tiniest bathroom I had ever seen. When sitting on the toilet, my knees touched the wall, so it was just easier to sit sideways. However, this did add to the charm of the place, and we were just there for 2 nights so it wasn't bothersome.
Overall, it was a great time in Bled, and we recommend staying at Pension Pletna for the value and location. Also, make sure not to miss the creme pie that Bled is noted for!
