“Misleading, too expensive.”
Reviewed 3 August 2013

I should have paid more attention to the reviews on trip advisor. It says "overlooking lake bled" on the website but it does not. The location is very convenient but it does not have a view. The hosts were friendly upon check in and helpful with suggestions for bled and area.

Our room was carpeted, there was no soap, shampoo conditioner etc. the towels were tiny and crispy. The bathroom shower curtain allows for the water to go all over the floor. There were not regular sheets just a weird thick blanket. It was sooooo hot and no a/c we had to leave the windows open to let in some air and got eaten alive all night, really rough night mostly not sleeping. I paid for a "suite" thinking we would get a bit nicer room but it was actually just access to use an additional room that had a couch in it. It was a weird set up. I had booked it for two nights and thought booking.com paid the hotel directly, we had called booking.com to see about changing our checkout so we only had to be there one night as we checked out in the morning the host questioned me about my comments to booking.com and said "show me one mosquito, we don't have Mosquitos here". I tried to be polite, it was very awkward maybe they aren't called Mosquitos but they bite and there are a lot of them. We are staying elsewhere tonight and they did make it right and only charged us for the one night but what a pricey night of no sleep, was about $200 usd, granted it was a weekend and peak season.

We were on a family vacation with our two boys - celebrating 25yrs of being married. We selected this Bed & Breakfast based upon; Location, Recommendations (here on Booking.com), and Price. We were not disappointed.
... The reception for check-in/check-out was satisfactory - answering questions when asked, but not really offering much in the way of suggestions. The rooms themselves were well maintained and comfortable. ... And the location was outstanding (quiet, but close to the action). There are several good restaurants, and even a grocery store, right nearby.
... We have been there before, would stay again, and would recommend it to others.

The wi-fi reception and/or bandwidth was poor. But we were on vacation, so didn't mind.

Bled in general is pretty expensive, so this was attractive due to our budget. Room was clean and a good size, although the place wasn't the warmest. It's only about five minutes walk from the Lake, so very handy.

When checking out we were forced to pay with cash, rather than credit card as planned. Despite booking.com stating all cards accepted, manager said we couldn't pay by card, so this annoyingly ate into our spending money for the rest of the trip.

The place is not all bad but as a seasoned traveller I booked this establishment based on the description contained in both Booking.com and their own webpage. I should have known one said 100m to lake the other 300m neither of which are correct. I have no idea why they list themselves as tourism Bled resort. You cant even get a coffee let along any resort features. What you get is a clean comfortable bedroom with an ensuite well in some room you have to share that also. I arrived after lunch but they insisted on the checkin time and didnt even offer a place for luggage or to sit as the reception area could only be accessed once you had booked in and got a electronic key for the door. There were no lake views and it was about a min of 1000m to the centre of Bled not located centrally as they advertised. There was a kitchen area but that was locked so we couldnt use it. I see that other people had a contental breakfast that wasnt offered to us either and we didnt see anywhere that was a breakfast area. <<the staff were kind and the rooms clean but I didnt get what I booked based on the Booking.com info and the Pr Jozef own webpage. The photos they use are tourism photos not what you see from your room and the food shown I am still wondering where it was

Room Tip: Dont think it is a resort and dont expect to see a lake view

Good location (next to the main street) but no lake views unlike what stated in booking.com. the room was tiny, the service was good, the bed is horribly uncomfortable.
Not a bad Guesthouse, but in total it was not worth the money (We have back pain the next day).

When we first started looking for a hotel in Bled, even in absolute-dead-season November, Pr Jozef seemed to be the only place that was reasonably inexpensive - and we got what we paid for. No frills - just twin beds, a television, and a bathroom. On the plus side, parking was easy, and it was less than a 10-minute walk to restaurants and the lake. We ended up having to pay in cash because the credit card machine didn't work - not a big deal since we were only there for one night, but a potential inconvenience.

My partner and I spent 3 nights at the Pr' Jozef and had a wonderful time. We were expecting a fairly basic room, and were really surprised at how airy and pleasant the room was. In addition to our bedroom was an extra 'living' room with a sofa bed in and also a recently fitted bathroom. New towels everyday (loved the rainbow ones!)

We also had a balcony which over looked the back garden and had the mountains in the distance. It was just a 5 minute walk down to the lake and Bled centre. Continental breakfast was also included. One thing I would warn about is that it is just off the main road so is a little tricky to find, nice and secluded though.
