First things first: Don't expect much from the hotel itself. Although the common areas are pretty and well kept, rooms are dated and reminiscent of Yugoslavian heydays. They will insist that furniture is antique, the point is antique doesn't mean necessarily old. In this case it does. Wall paper is peeling off and wooden doors of the balcony in need of repair. That being said, let's focus on what counts. It has the best views one could possibly get from Lake Bled. From your balcony you can see the islet, the castle, and everything around. And the views are really jaw dropping. So, if you can forget what the room is like inside, and look out of your window, it would be worth every penny invested on your room rate. Furthermore, staff is very friendly, they offer free parking and excellent internet connection.
Book a suite, they are affordable and offer the best views!More
