Stayed at the hotel over Christmas 2012 and have booked to go back in Jan 14 it was that good.

Warm, comfortable, friendly and close to the slopes especially with the free ski bus for hotel guests!

Couldnt fault it at all!!

We stayed two nights here in early July and had a good time. We were on the first floor corner room facing over the terrace/lake/bridge/roads. Despite all that and lots of people of every age and disposition thronging the resort, it wasn't unpleasantly noisy. We ate well at the restaurant outdoors each evening and breakfast, presided over by some lady dragons was sort of OK, but they weren't quick to refill empty trays and plates and we missed out on some items as a result (early bird. .. worms. .. I know). It's a big hotel and there are hundreds of people passing through all day so it's a bit impersonal of course. Our room couldn't have been better though and we had two balconies (with house martins nesting delightfully under our eaves). I doubt you'll find a better hotel around these parts.

Pickings are allegedly limited at Slovenia's lovely Bohinj lake. Jezero Hotel was the "institution" selected by our tour company. Our second floor room overlooked a couple restaurants, one doubling as a bar, which kept our floor awake until 1:30 AM. I know the floor was awake because I met other people walking in the hallway coming back from complaining to the manager, who told me that he had been to my country and hotels were not quiet their either. Since the main reason I go to a hotel is for a decent place to sleep, the Jezero draws a firm miserable on that score. On top of this, one of the people in the hallway alleged a mouse infestation on the basis of apparent mouse nibbles on food they left out, and we noticed the same in our room. On top of that, there was a smell, like a dead mouse, coming from behind the small fridge, or in the wall, from time to time. On top of that, the mattress/springs on my side of the bed were broken and I could not find a working fan or air conditioner. If you must go to this hotel, good luck. Otherwise, insist on a room that faces away from the lake (and thus the bars/restaurants/noise). I would rate the place lower than poor, but we did get to sleep after 1:30 and it does have an excellent location.

Room Tip: Insist on something that does not face the main road (and thus an edge of the lake) in order (hopefu...

Spacious, clean, well-lit rooms, very comfortable. Huge choice from the buffet breakfast and dinner, with a good blend of the familiar and the distinctively Slovene; wine and beer included with the buffet. The a la carte restaurant was good too.
Staff were invariably helpful. The only thing they didn't know how to do was a barbecue; this option just turned out to be the same food that would have been served for dinner, brought outside and kept lukewarm in heated pans. Couldn't fault anything else.

Room Tip: Didn't hear of a bad one.

Just returned from our 5th stay at the wonderful Hotel Jezero. This was the first time we had visited in the summer and we certainly weren't disappointed. The location and scenery are just as stunning in the summer as in the winter. The hotel staff as always were helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The food was of a good standard and varied, there was something for everyone. Looking forward to our next visit in the winter.

We passed by the aria and choosed not to stay in Bled, so we drived to this lake and asked around for vacancy. This hotel offered a nice and tidy room. We where a bit supriced over the price. Much more / night than we paied at Hilton hotel in Prauge and Vienna. Our appartment had 2 room, one whit doublebed one whit 2 single.
The breakfast was allright, had everything but the coffee was really untasty.
The surounding where breathtaking and my number of pictures taken of the lake in different lights is high!
We had a nice stay :)

We stopped here for a very pleasant salad lunch. The food was good, well presented and good value. Although the tables were near the road it was a pleasant area.
The service was quick but didn't feel ubder pressure to leave. There was a box asking for cash to use the loo which we ignored.
