We have just returned from a week's holiday based at thuis hotel. It is located very near to the lake and its stunning views. We had a very spacious 2nd floor room with lounge and balcony overlooking the mountains at the rear of the hotel.
The staff were very friendly and always helpful and the tourist information centre is just across the road. Whilst we couldn't fault the hotel's location and our room, the dining room was a disappointment. Tiny windows high on the wall were the natural light source but useless for mountain gazing. The continental buffet provided at breakfast never varied and the warm food could have been there for over two hours under covers. Top tip - take your own tea and coffee if you don't like herbal teas or machine made coffee.
The unpleasant smell mentioned in a previous review is still there one year on which discouraged us from sitting outside in the evening. We would return for the amazing surroundings and the spacious rooms but a little wiser about the breakfast. We were glad we had chosen the b&b option as there is a choice of restaurants close by.More
