This is a perfectly adequate business-style 3-star hotel on the outskirts of the main city centre.
We stayed here at the beginning and end of a week-long trip to Slovenia in September 2012.
Rooms are comfortable and showers good, but make sure you book a room that ends in at least 07 (ie 607, 708, 809). These rooms are at the end of the corridor and away from the corridor entrance door which slams shut and continually woke us when we stayed in an "03" room on our first night. We slept much better in an "08" room during our second stay.
Rooms all have twin beds, which is standard in Slovenia.
Breakfast was adequate for a 3-star hotel with a selection of cereals, bread (and a domestic toaster), machine coffee (go for the filter coffee in a pot near the toaster), eggs, sausages, cold meats, cheeses and fruit. Juices are bizarre and more like fruit juice drinks. Breakfast room was very attractive in the hotel's main restaurant.
You may feel a little bit out of town here. There is a small supermarket nearby and a couple of bars, but it's semi-suburban. It's a nice walk from the hotel, through Tivoli Park, to the centre, and 7 or 8 euros by taxi.
Ljubijana buses are not good for tourists as they run on a Oyster card/multi-trip basis, which would be expensive for just a few trips.More
