We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in August and it was a super fun place to stay, in the middle of everything. The location in the middle of Old Town right by the river was so convenient. It allowed us to drop in and out of the hotel whenever we wanted to drop off bags, use our own washroom, etc. There are tons of restaurants along the river beside the hotel, which all have lively patios. The downside of this is that 1) it is noisy, and 2) cigarette smoke wafts in through your windows if you leave them open. However the windows are very good quality and block out most (but not all) of the sound. For us, the entertainment value and convenience of being in such a central location more than compensated for these things.
We stayed in a Vander Large room (35) which was on the 3rd floor, the top floor with rooms, and the closest to the river without paying up for a river-side room. This gave us a side view of the river from one of the windows. The room was very spacious, clean, and very modern. We requested twin beds, and these were very comfortable (my guess is that they would push the twins together to form a "king"). Don't sit in the armchair or you will never get up again, it is so comfortable. There was a mirrored armoire which contained a mini bar, mini safe, and a few small shelves. There was no dresser in the room, but there were a few shelves inside the hall closet. There was no folding luggage rack but there were some stools at the right height for opening your suitcase. What the room lacked in storage it made up for with ample space. We used the WiFi quite a bit and it was fast (and free).
The bathroom was super modern and we loved the big rain shower with choice of shower heads (there was no bathtub). The wall was all glass with a curtain that could be drawn across for complete privacy. I agree with other comments that they are missing a few practicalities such as hooks on the wall to hang towels.
The 24-hour staff at the front desk were super helpful. We had walked to the hotel, dragging our suitcases over the cobblestone through Old Town (which is a pedestrian-only zone), and the hotel staff felt so badly about this (despite the fact that it was completely my fault - I forgot that you can call them and they will pick you up in a golf cart!) We used one of their restaurant suggestions on the last night and were very happy with it. On our last morning, they arranged a cab for our super-early flight, and because we were missing breakfast, packed us two very nice (and big!) meals for the airplane.
The breakfast that was included in the price of the hotel was excellent - croissants and fresh breads and cupcakes, cold cuts, cheese and olives, yogurt, fruit cups, fresh juices and eggs made to order.
The infinity pool on the 4th floor rooftop was a great place to relax and go for a swim. The water was cool and clean. It was small (maybe about 18 feet long?), but I had it completely to myself for an hour when I used it at 9am (which is when it opened). It was so lovely to go for a swim and look out over the rooftops and down to the river. It was open until 7pm, but people were sitting out on the terrace enjoying the view well after that time.
At EUR150/night including breakfast, this hotel was excellent value. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.
