We ended up paying 55 euro a head for lunch here without the wine! The Set menu is falsely advertised with supplements added to absolutely everything, actually if you investiage the menu there is no option at all, with just one of the courses avaialble for the fixed price. It was really a pretentious environment and I couldn't help feel I was paying for the decor in the Ladies restrooms. My boyfriend nearly had a heart attack when he saw the bill - they should have a defibrillator available as it is frightening that lunch could cost 55 euro a head :-) Try the Gundel buffet on a sunday, the Trofea Grill, the Menza or the authentic Kacsa in Buda - all offer better value for your buck. I was actually hungry leaving the restaurant. Food was good but the nouveau cuisine style was stretched to the limit. The staff were not rude but this felt like a legitimate scam.
