I am at a loss of words to describe how SOHO BOTIQUE HOTEL impressed us from the moment we crossed the hotel doors...
My wife and i spent beautiful beautiful nights at SOHO BOTIQUE HOTEL
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was perfect
The hotel and grounds were clean and safe.
The staff are Friendly and helpful throughout our contact with them.
Our room was beautiful and so comfortable. The bed in particular was so comfy. The room and bathroom were spotless. The breakfast in the hotel was delicious.
Thanks to all the staff for being so kind and making our honeymoon so special
I would not think twice about going there again.

Mohammed

Returned last week after a fantastic 3 day city break in Budapest. The hotel was in the perfect location for everything. We had a room at the front on the 3rd floor which was slightly noisy at night but not too bad. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was an acceptable continental breakfast. Nothing fancy. A bit too continental for us from the UK. There was no english tea for my husband at breakfast but hey ho, he had coffee for 3 day !!. Only thing we did not like was the fact that the hotel bar closed at 10pm so if you were wanting a night cap to chill with your company before bed you had to go to a nearby bar. Overall we would go back

I traveled with three children aged 11-13. We arrived earlier from the hour that acceptable to have the room, after an early morning flight. We did not have to wait and got the rooms immediately, what helped us recover and continue the program of the day.
The hotel is in a central location can be reached by foot to almost all the major sights of Pest. The hotel is also in a central public transport: subway, tram and buses.
Satisfying breakfast and pleasant staff ready to respond to any request.
The rooms are small but cozy and clean (we always found room neat and clean).
We really enjoyed the hotel.

just back from a 4 night stay at the Soho Budapest. the hotel is ideally situated close to main bus routes, the metro and the hop on tour bus route. the staff are friendly and very helpful.. the hotel is very clean and the rooms although small they are very clean and equipped with everything you need for a city break. after all you are in a fantastic city. all you should be doing is using the hotel as a base. the breakfast is adequate but I don't think Gordon Ramsey will be using it as a blue print for his new restaurant.
the reception will sell you tickets which are valid for two days, for the hop on hop off tour bus which stops just across the road and is well worth doing and gives you a good insight into the city. the bus also gives you a free voucher book which gives you 2 free river trips and a free drink in a central bar as well as discount at numerous other venues around the city.
there is a bar with an old hairdressers theme on the corner about 30 metres if you turn left out of the door. the staff are very pleasant and between 5 and 8pm a pint of beer is less than 60p.
there are loads of bars and eating places within metres of the hotel. one of the pubs opposite sells "Black Beer" try it if you dare and then try to imagine what lunatic would make it their regular tipple
Tere is a first class restaurant called Rosa if you turn right out of the door then right at the next junction, about 100 metres down the road on the left is the Rosa. the food is fantastic and a two course meal with a drink was less than £15.
a visit to the spa baths is a must just for the experience. we tried the Gellert baths which was about £12 entry but the array of pools and saunas was fantastic. the steam room in particular was like some sort of medieval torture room. take your own swim suit but you can hire a towel from the baths for a nominal fee.
its worth noting that lots of places are shut on a sunday and the museums are closed on a Monday. so if you are there over a weekend, planning is a good idea.
all in all its a fantastic city with loads to see and do. the food and drink is cheap and get a map at reception because you can walk almost everywhere.
we would definitely return and stay at the Soho again.

Room Tip: we had rooms on the second and third floors looking into a forecourt. nothing pretty to see but quie...

We were made very welcome when we arrived at hotel. Very friendly staff and very quickly allocated our room on the third floor.very nice room and QUIET,away from noisy street at front of hotel.A very bright and cheery breakfast room AND a good selection of food.In a very good location to visit all the places you wanted to see.A 15mins. Walk and you were down at the Danube to see this beautiful city in all its glory. And after a bit of site seeing and a nice dinner at one of the many fine restuaunts.Back to the Soho for a very comforting bed in a very quiet room.

Room Tip: Perhaps asking for a room on a higher floor.

had a brilliant 3 night weekend in Budapest - the hotel is in an excellent location and the staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful and spoke English. Our room was on the 6th floor at the back of the hotel, it was quiet and very clean with comfortable beds but the room was hot all the time and the air con did not cool the room at all. Breakfasts could have been better, there were hot and cold choices but some were not my idea of breakfast foods. I would have preferred more fruit salads, pastries, granola etc. Good Wifi. The hotel bar closed early and there was no hotel restaurant for snacks or an evening meal, however there were plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.
