The staff are really attentive and kind. The rooms are clean and fairly big. The price is right for budapest. The location is excellent. Basically you can walk most places if you're not lazy or caught in a downpour. Only thing that could improve is the breakfast (no fresh fruit) and the internet in the rooms (no wifi).

I stayed here for 3 nights. If you are getting there by flight or train its better to call them up and ask them to send you a taxi. For the airport it is a flat price of 6500 Forinths (at the time of writing). The staff at the reception surprisingly are VERY helpful (given that I have travelled a LOT and stayed at a LOT of star hotels). You can get budapest travel cards, spa tickets and all that right at the hotel reception. The staff also recommend some nice restaurants to eat and sometimes help you plan your sight seeing. Breakfast is satisfactory. I loved the Brazilian cappucino. The room is spacious, has bath tub, clean restrooms. Internet is provided via ethernet and WiFi (free) is available in the lounge. Contents of the minibar is free and they have a 24 hr bar in the hotel. The only draw back I saw was unless I asked them to make my room, the bed sheets were never changed and the carpets are slightly less clean (I am a bit picky when it comes to clean carpets). I took a non-smoking room in the fourth floor and thoroughly enjoyed it. I will definitely go back here and highly recommend it to both business travelers as well as family vacations. Saw a lot of families (with 2 kids) during my 3 night stay.

Room Tip: The superior room they offer are spacious double bed rooms (about 20-30 m2) with bathtub and clean toilets. The suites are two room 40m2 (approximately) suitable for a couple and kids or 3 friends. (1 has to sleep in the sofa bed).

I needed a hotel on the Buda side to carry out a short business trip. Location, internet and room to work were needed. The Regnum came with good recommendation and the price was very reasonable so I decided to check it out. It is slightly off the beaten path but less than a 10 minute walk to the main bus and metro lines. The first room reception gave me had a bad internet connection so they changed my room and the rest was great. Big rooms with modern fixtures, a comfortable bed and a fine breakfast. Couldn't ask for more.

Room Tip: If you need internet avoid room 504

We had a 3 night city break in Budapest and stayed here (Dec 2011). Overall we were very happy with he hotel.

We paid £45 / night (advertised rate in hotel was 100 / 110 euros) and were upgraded without asking to a superior room. Room was very large with balcony, small but modern shower room and there was also a complimentary mini bar (soft drinks only). The hotel is very modern looking, it has a small hotel bar and restaurant. As it was a quiet time the restaurant was not open in the evening, didn't bother us as we were happy to explore Budapest. Breakfast was good - usual cereal, bread, cheese, eggs, sausages, fruit - self service and overall very good. Staff were very friendly throughout our stay.

The hotel is in a good location. On a quiet side street and a 15 minute walk to Christmas markets etc. So overall reall happy with the stay

Stayed for 5 nights in December! Our decision was made from TA and we booked directly with them as they offered free room upgrade to a suite and their price was unbeatable.
They area was a very attractive and quite one on the bouda side.It was easy to find it and the metro stop is nearby.
The given room was a very large one with a separate living room and a very big bathroom with a separate WC !The decor was very nice and it had many wardrobes and plenty of storage places.Beds ware twins one and they were pushed together and it was almost unnoticeable for a couple .They offer free drinks in the minibar (water and cola ) which is a bonus.
Breakfast was very good and served in a attractive breakfast room.It was plenty of choices for every taste. My small suggestion to the hotel management is to change the coffee machine if they can (nescaffe -instant coffees ).It will cost them less to put and operate a regular filter coffee machine and the quality will be much more better.Of course the available coffee types will be more limited then .
I think the most great asset of this hotel is the very professional and friendly staff.Even if the are young the handle all requests quickly and professionally .Especially here i have to mention David (reception ) and Evi (bar -breakfast ). They were so friendly with us !!

Thank you again all you guys there at Regnum residence.Wish you all the best and continue hard and successful work as you do now !
A person working at the same section !

Room Tip: Book directly with them and get a free room upgrade .All money are going to them instead to the Online travel agents (commission) ;)
