“Yummy Lunch, Elegant Dessert”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 May 2014

This is such a relaxing way to end a day of sightseeing in the elegant surroundings of this pastry shop. We tried the Paprikas Krumpli (potato stew with Hungarian sausage and sour cream--it is so full of flavor, we could hardly eat enough, but we knew better to save room for the Kremes. The Kremes is a lite, delightful creme pudding sandwiched between delicate pastry layers. This is their signature dessert and definitely a must have; however, the Dobos and so many others are so exquisitely done that you must repeat the experience on another day. The prices are so affordable and quite the bargain for such a quality and flavorful meal.

“Wonderful Ice cream sundeas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 April 2014

I have been to the downtown shop last week. I was happy to find that they also have lunch now. I had a delicious duck salad and the best ice cream sundae I had had in all my life. Full of strawberries and flavour! You can taste, that it is the real thing. They told me they make it there, in the traditional way. You have to try it! It is between Astoria and Ferenciek tere metro stops. Don't miss it+

Really lovely cakes, staff were great too. We enjoyed our afternoon treat so much, we went to go again on the Sunday before we left to return home... Sadly it was closed!

“Great cakes and pogacza ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 March 2014 via mobile

The wonderful old shop makes you feel the unforgetable tastes of past in spite of its sadness. Staff was very professional and the cakes were stunning. Pogacza is a traditional pastry also in Turkey and I have found it very similar to each other. Well done..
