...is that value for money is probably the best in Budapest and everyone writes about it...so do I !
We travelled sort of last minute to BUD and waited till very last day to make a reservation and what we got was 37 EUR per night for double room.....not sure that hostels in BUD can compete with that...ok, probably this is not case every single day, but worth to experiment as we did, since there are plenty of accommodation in the city....
central location, friendly people on reception, comfortable bed...and almost everything is written in spanish (including TripAdvisor proclamation on reception desk)....breakfast 7,5 EUR...hm, we pass since there are so many eateries with local food around

I have bene in this hotel a few times in the last two years, for business reasons. The location of the hotel is really convenient for the centre of the city, close tho the metro station, the Elisabeth bridge and the Ruda thermal bath, a fantastic hot spot in the city. The Eurostars Budapest belongs to a Spanish hotel chain and it is mainly focused for business guests. Anyway I have noticed a downgrade of the services in this last visit: the room was small and the bathroom probably less tha 6 sq/m. Some furnitures didn't work perfectly, for instance the shower tap, and the courtesy kit was really poor. Same feeling at the breakfast, with coffee and juices available on a self serve made only. Quantity, assortment and quality of the pastries was really unexpectedly low, surely much more lower than in my previous experiences. So, why the staying was not totally negative? An amazing price, the kindness of the staff at the reception have given a feeling to return next time, hoping that not all the rooms will have lack in the furnitures, and the average level of the breakfast will be improved.

this hotel is conveniently located close to shops, restaurants and the hop on hop off bus stops for all tourists attractions, it is also easy walking distance to central market, fashion street, the chain bridge ect..the staff were friendly, check in easy and plenty of information was available at the desk when we asked. the hotel was clean and modern and had a fully stocked mini bar which was a bit expensive.Tea and coffee facilities in room but only peppermint tea available in ours so we took some milk, tea and coffee from the breakfast buffet which was no problem, the breakfast was ample with hot French toast, fruit, cheeses and various cold meats and breads. the breakfast buffet staff were very friendly. The down side was the bed was a heavy duty folding type even though we had a superior room, it was very thin and not very comfortable, we keep rolling into the middle. We were in room to the front with a balcony but the street the hotel is on is very busy with traffic so in the summer it would be quiet noisy if you left the doors open.
Overall we would recommend this hotel as the staff are excellent and friendly even the cleaning lady greeted us with a friendly smile each morning...
Taking value for money into consideration this hotel was great value

Stayed here for 4 nights. Excellent location means many things are within easy walking distance (Vati Utca, Hungarian National Museum, Central Market Hall, the Danube) and you are close to a 'hop on hop off' bus stop which is really helpful for seeing sites that are further away.
The room was clean and spacious, with a frankly enormous bed! I would caution that the bath/shower would be difficult to get into for someone with mobility issues.
Tried room service one night, was reasonably priced for a 4*, arrived quickly and was pretty tasty (pizza was home made).
Must mention the staff - they were extremely helpful throughout, even liaising with a taxi company for me because I had left my phone on the backseat of one of their cabs! Every single member of staff was polite, helpful and knowledgeable.
Breakfast had plenty of choice and is served until 10:30 which is great if you have a leisurely holiday in mind.
The restaurant next to the hotel was really good (I recommend the catfish paprikash) and there are also generally plenty of restaurants in the area.

We cannot fault out stay! My sister and I have just returned and had a brilliant trip. The rooms were clean, spacious and really nicely decorated.

The staff couldn't do enough for us and were really helpful. We were given several maps and tips on our arrival which was really appreciated!

Brilliant stay... Cannot recommend enough! Our only slight criticism - we would have liked a kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room BUT the price and location make this an amazing hotel!

Loved the service , breakfast was great the room is very nice fit for both tourism and business in a great location next to both metro and walking distance from most of the poplar sites. I loved my visit there and would come back again. The bed is super king size (it's like huge !!!!) which is superb but it would be nice if it had better view than it does. But this in no way faults the hotel Highly recommended!
