I found the Leda Apartments on the internet and they were as good as the reviews I had read. They are quite new, well maintained, tastefully furnished and well equipped. The internet worked and there was good TV reception with one English TV news channel. The admin office was very helpful and helps with tours and transport arrangements. They could do better by understanding the key tours better though.
There was everything you'd need for a short stay and the balcony was great. I would only ask that they provide a couple of extra pillows, one waste baste in the living area and several spare garbage bags Their security call system worked every time the key wouldn't unlock the door. One minor drawback on our 3rd floor street facing location (Apt 319) was the occasional noise from late night carousers on the otherwise quiet street You wouldn't be disturbed if you sleep well or in colder weather when the windows are shut. However, they do offer air conditioning if you wish to pay for it.
Two grocery shops were a 5 and 10-minute walk away and a pharmacy was right across on the corner. The location was also close to numerous restaurants and cafes in all directions and it was a 10 to 15-minute leisurely walk to Deak Ter.
We were also upgraded from studio to a one bedroom. They are definitely a property I would go back to.More
