To be honest i ddi nto ahve any expectatiosn at all from this hotel as it was about to open its gates just 4 days before Ia arrive. The sauna and fitness center were not yer operational, and the restaurant was not ready either. Nevertheless, It was only the first week of the hotel's official operation...and that was an excuse enough, although I would prefer them to be fully functional before they official opening (besides a customer makes an option based on the hotel amenities...and that is sth I didn't have 100% as expected).
BUT... the personnel were all professionals and very friendly. The hotel design is really unique and is to be found everywhere, from lobby, to rooms, to toilets! Very clean, excelent bed quality., very sound proof. My room's view was not exactly amazing as the hotel is situated in an alley, behind intercontinental, but that contributed to the quietness I needed so much. I am not so much into "rooms with a view" kind of thing, because I never spend too much time in hotels rooms, apart from sleeping.
Breakfast was adequate and very tasty.
Location was EXCELLENT! 10 meters away from the main pedestrian road of vaci utca, 3 minutes away fro central market, 1 min away from the river, douzens of restaurants around. Just 2-3 mins from metro station and tram.
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, couples or families. Next time we will go back with the kids and we will definitely go back to this hotel, which I hope would be 100% finished till then! It is really a BVM hotel.
