If you are looking to stay at a modern hotel (with history!), in a great location (near to trams/metro & easy walking distance to lots of "must see" sights), then look no further. This young hotel is sassy, hot on customer service, and really does deserve the fact that is is climbing up the ranks at an alarming rate.... it's competitors at #'s 1 and 2 ought to be looking over their shoulders.
The hotel is just steps away from the Danube, the "green" bridge (szabadsag hid), the large covered market place, and lots of public transport. It is easy to get around anywhere with this hotel as your starting point.
We stayed in the spacious room 102 (suite) at the front of the hotel. It was really clean, and had the most comfortable bed with lovely crisp white bedding, my husband and I both slept really well.
The breakfasts are just 10/10, so much to choose from! Freshly squeezed orange juice, champagne, salmon, continental meats, cheeses, several choices of breads, croissants, pastries etc - there is even a "hot" selection with eggs, sausages, grilled vegetables, bacon etc. We have been lucky enough to stay in hotels in New York, London and Paris in the last 3 years and I have to say that the breakfast at Bohem was unrivalled for quality/choice. The hotel also offers free tea/coffee/hot chocolate in the afternoons, so it's lovely to come back and recharge your batteries.
If you are looking for a "city" break at a clean, affordable, funky hotel which represents great value for money then you could not do better than the Bohem Art.

Room Tip: The suite (room 102) we stayed in was great, in the "historic" part of the hotel. Plenty o...

Beautiful quirky, modern, relaxed hotel. Gorgeous breakfast - freshly squeezed orange and a huge choice. Our room was a little small, but perfectly functional with beautifull furnishings and decoration. Free room safe and a hairdrier that actually dries your hair! Brilliant blackout curtains ensure a wonderful sleep on a comfy bed without any traffic noise and just at the correct temperature. Location is perfect for exploring, we left after breakfast and did not return until midnight most days. Budapest is a perfect city with too many things to highight but a wonderful treat is the Szechenyi Baths, especially after a day of sightseeing. Magnificent place, thank you Budapest I will definately return

Overall we were exceptionally impressed with all aspects of this hotel. Our room was large, comfortable and very clean. Staff were efficient and helpful. Breakfast was plentyfull and of good quality. Location was good and the style of the hotel was chic and quirky to give the place real character.

We got a big room with a very modern bathroom - tub, shower, separate WC with Bidet - many 5star hotels have no such facilities!
The street, where the hotel is situated is rather quiet, althogh many attractions (Market Hall, Vaci Utca, the river Danube) are nearby.
We liked the breakfast - fresh orange-juice, local specialities, drinkable coffee - but we did not like the very loud music at breakfast, I think the biggest part of the guess would have liked other (and softer) tunes to be played - and the space between the tables is rather narrow.
Nevertheless, a very good choice for a Budapesttrip.

I've visited many hotels all over Europe and this one shines out, perfect location for Budapest but its the friendly staff, great design and atmosphere that makes it a great stay also it has a fantastic food area with the best breakfast I would say I've had in years. The rooms are not large but they have been designed with great thought, incorporated some great quality design features and have also used large format art to great effect which made them lovely to stay in. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are a fan of good design, appreciate great and friendly service but also enjoy the intimacy of smaller understated hotels.

Room Tip: Just ask for their best room and I'm sure they would help

‘Boutique’ as they say. Much better than those big chains with their corporate décor, as it’s colourful and quirky – free coffee in the afternoons, free WIFI. Looks great, room a trifle small, breakfast excellent, location perfect. Recommend a visit to the huge fresh produce market - turn right just a short distance. Only one observation - they recommend a Hungarian restaurant but suspect it's a special deal - but much preferred Sercli on Veres Palne, Tuscano Trattoria on Danube side of same block and Marcellos Pizzeria on other side.
