“Good but not excellent.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 April 2012

Nice hotel in very centre location.

Room was really small. I have been staying for only one night so that was not a very big issue. Bed was comfortable.

Room was very well decorated. Fresh modern decour. Stunning bathroom.

Breakfast is really delicious.

I chose this hotel because of raving reviews on trip advisor. And I am slightly disappointed. Was expecting more.

The hotel is a good find. It is located on a back street within minutes walking of everything! The service was very good. Everyone at the hotel had a good attitude and was very helpful. Our first room, 101, "Hip Suite", has a design problem with the shower and water went every where. Since we were with our 2 teenaged daughters and would be taking a lot of showers, I asked to move rooms. They moved us to 701 and it was perfect. We liked that room better anyway and it had a bathtub/shower combination. The suite was not big, but had a wall divided between the bedroom and a room with a futon big enough for both my girls. Breakfast was as good as the other reviewers described. The only negative lasting thing, however not the hotel's fault, was the taxi they called for us to take us to the airport dropped us at the wrong terminal. Then we had to scramble and take the public city bus to the next terminal 15 minutes down the road with the bus stopping along the way! When I questioned the taxi driver about the terminal he seemed very put out. He also refused arrogantly my husband giving him some coins. We really wanted to get rid of the coins before leaving Hungary. Still, back to the hotel, it was great. I highly recommend it.

Room Tip: 701 - for a family

This hotel was cute, artsy, and a great home base for exploring Budapest. The rooms are small, but very manageable. The included breakfast was amazing, there was so much to choose from and it definitely left you feeling full. The air conditioning in the room wasn't working and it got a little stuffy in the evenings. The location is perfect! And the staff was great.

During Easter holiday we stayed for 2 nights in Budapest in this hotel. The location is simply great, just 1 min walking from the main shopping road, from the river, from the central market and in a few minutes you can reach the closest metro station (Kalvin ter) and visit the whole city. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any question about the city or the services in the hotel.
Breakfast in this hotel is superb: there are so many things to eat and drink that it's difficult to choose!
The room was a bit small, but very clean and confortable.
The last day, at the checkout around 11.00am the staff allowed us to leave our bags in the hotel, so we were able to enjoy the city sightseeing the whole afternoon without carrying our bags.

we spent 4 night in Budapest. 2 nights in this hotel and 2 nights in four seasons. For the value of money, next time we definitely will stay here for our entire trip.

The Locations is very good. You can walk everywhere. The room is small But very clean. Check in and check out are very quick and smooth. The best part is the free breakfast. It is awesome! I love the orange juice machine. Every morning I put oranges in and got my very fresh orange juice. Four seasons doesn't even have this. very happy with our stay!

We booked four nights at the Bohem Art Hotel based on trip advisor reviews. Not only were we not disappointed, our stay here has been exceptional. The hotel has been open for only a year and the decor is techno modern. We took a bus and the metro to get to the hotel at a cost of $3.00 each. The hotel was a short distance from the metro. the staff has been available, helpful, friendly and energetic. They have answered all our questions, and suggested places to visit and how to get there. The included breakfast would have to satisfy every taste. There is fiber cereal, yougurt and fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs, assorted soft and hard cheeses, fresh breads and pastries, sparkling wine, salads, proscuitto and lox. The breakfast area is clean and well kept. A great way to start the day.

The hotel has just opened a bar and from 2-5 has complimentary coffee, tea and snacks. The rooms are on the small side but the desk area is sufficient and there is complimentary wifi. The hotel is on a quiet street one block from the Danube and an easy walk to the Gellert Baths and the Central Market. The next block over is Vaci Utca, the primary shopping promenade whcih leads to Deak Square. It is an easy walk to Deak Sq from which each of the three metro lines can be accessed. Today we followed the yellow line out to the Opera House and then on to the Szechenyi Baths. We got the ticket at the hotel and it included a changing room which locks so valuables can be kept there. We brought our bathing suits and the hotel maid gave us extra towels for the day so we didnt have to rent them. The bath was 38 degrees celcius and on a 45 degree F day, it was spectacular. People were from all over and very pleasant to share space with. We booked well in advance and got a good price, We let them know this was our 25th anniversary trip and a bottle of sparking wine was waiting for us on our arrival.

We have found lots of great things to do, can walk almost everywhere, and are always pleased to get back to our hotel with the staff's smiling faces and the comfort of the place. We encourage folks to try this place.

This hotel is a little gem. It's in a great location in the centre, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is the best I have ever had at the many hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds are comfortable. My only negative would be that the shower wets the whole bathroom floor, but it really is a small negative compared to all the positives. Watch out for the tourist souveniers on the top floor of the market hall, they are all the same and very expensive. Do visit the Church cave across the chain bridge, it is well worth a visit.
