We recently stayed in BO 18 Superior Hotel between 3rd july-6th july 2012, we found the hotel to be lovely, comfortable and modern, friendly, peaceful, private and spotlessly clean! The continental breakfast was delicious with a wide selection of food and drinks, including champagne. The hotel has excellent modern facillities such as a jacuzzi, gym and massage room. Access to free wi-fi and usage of supplied laptop or tablet in reception area. The air conditioning was excellent to come back to after being out and about in Budapest as the weather there was extremley hot and sunny. All staff provided excellent service and had a friendly and professional manner. One of the staff in particular 'Gabor' we found is a great asset to this hotel as he has a genuine personality and made everyone feel so very welcome, he went out of his way at all times to help with any enquires we had, also enjoyed informing people of various places to visit whilst in Budapest. Another nice touch this hotel has, is a chilled lemon drink machine free on tap at all times, which was lovely to help yourself to when you were coming back from being outside in the heat. Budapest is a beautiful, interesting city. The metro, which is not far from this hotel is a great and cheap way to travel around the city. Maps are provided free in the hotel and tour guide booklets. There is also a big modern shopping centre very close to the hotel which has an excellent choice of shops. In addition not far from the hotel we would recommend a pub/restaurant called 'Stex' which has a delicious menu of Hungarian dishes to choose from. We really enjoyed our stay at the BO 18 superior in Budapest and would definately stay there again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you.

They offerred different massages for small money and it was fantastic to relax after a hard day of work.

Our choice for this hotel was really good, firstly it was good value for money! The staff was really willing and always with a smile. The hotel is situated near a mall so its helpful for a tourist to find it and it was most hours of the day crowded although the neighborhood there is quiet . Breakfast was really tasty but it could have more..

First class service from staff who couldn't be more helpful. Very clean, modern hotel. Good breakfast, good location near to metro and trams. Neighbouring buildings are in need of renovation in some cases but don't let this bother you.

The wifi signal could be a bit stronger in room 608 - it didn't reliably reach the desk. And maybe the possibility for getting a sandwich from the bar in the evening would be nice. But these are the only slightly negatives thing I have to say.

I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone and will definitely go back next time I am in Budapest!

First a word on the neighborhood. I walked around quite a bit and my sense is that this is a working class area that is clearly gentrifying, mainly due to the opening of the Corvin Plaza mall and nearby "passage" (a couple of pedestrian blocks with cafés). I found nothing sketchy about it. The hotel is two blocks from the mall and three from metro and other public transport. It is also easy walking distance to Raday Utca, a strip of trendy restaurants with attractive sidewalk café seating in the summer. I enjoyed staying here because it was just far enough from the tourist areas to allow me to feel like I was really in the city (and not just in its tourist oriented simulacrum). It was also close enough to everything that it was never inconvenient. For example, the spectacular Applied Arts Museum and the Holocaust Memorial Museum are both about three blocks away, and everything else can be reached easily by public transport.
The hotel's styling is modern and attractive. Rooms have large windows that open, and there is also air conditioning for when it gets too hot. Convenient services include free wi-fi, room safes, small gym and spa, fridge with food/drinks available. Breakfast was especially impressive, including champagne, cereals, breads, eggs with meats and cheeses, yogurt, fresh and dried fruits, coffee and juice. They also are happy to serve you espresso (important for me in the morning).
The hotel lobby is small but attractive. During my visit (summer), they had lemonade available every afternoon. They also have a small bar. Guests often gathered in the lobby or in the small garden out back.
Service was just spectacular all around. In my case, different front desk staff helped me figure out how to get to odd parts of the city where I had appointments, promptly fix my door when it came unhinged, direct me to a store to buy a SIM card, to name a few instances of helpfulness.
I got a special deal through a citywide event I was attending (about 50 euros per night), which is probably below their usual rates. I think this would have been an excellent value even at a higher price.
Highly recommended!

This hotel is very nice some people may find it not very ''safe'' because you will need to walk about 5meters from the metro station to get there. Its very easy to reach though. Take bus 200E at the airport cost about 1.50dollars (1.20 euro) one way ticket. You need to step out at Kobanya Kispet Metro. Take metro red line direction towards Ujpest Kozpont M. You need to get out at Corvin-Negyed. Its the 7th stop. Once there you get out at the side where the sign Corvin. In front if you there should be a health store look at your left you can see Terraza Venezia. Walk straight till you see the first street Pater Utca (Utca means street in Hungarian) From there walk straght till you find the street Vadjahunyad You will prob see the hotel. We got the room at the 6th level Not big but spacious enough and a hot tube! Like wowwww

Room Tip: ask them to give you a room with bathtube
