Very clean and cozy hostel with a homely feel. The atmosphere was very relaxed. Rooms were clean and spacious and the decor in the entire place was super neat with very high ceiling and beautiful architecture. The hostel offered great amenities such as a spacious kitchen, good internet connection and tv with lots of movies. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The only downfalls were that there were only 2 bathrooms so it got very busy especially in the morning/evenings and my locker was broken so I had to share with my friend. It was very hot and there were limited fans to circulate the air in the dorm room. The windows were open and it got pretty noisy at night with sirens ect so not the best sleep. Overall great clean place to stay and good value, but it was pretty hot!

I stayed at Njoy for 5 nights. I was suppose to stay for 2. Obviously I thoroughly eNjoyed it to have stayed so long. I haven't stayed at too many hostels but if majority are like Njoy then my travels might never end. Staff were probably the highlight. Just so super nice and crazily helpful. One even came out clubbing with us one night.
Another highlight was actually cooking a traditional Hungarian meal ourselves and then sitting down together to eat it. There was about 15 of us, some people even came from other hostels because they heard about it. And then on Sunday night they cooked a traditional Hungarian meal for us this time, for free. Terrific bunch if people and was sad to leave. Great city, great stay.

As 5 lads, from England, on a stag-do (bachelor party for you Americans!) with beer and strippers on the mind, we had left accommodation until the last minute!!
We rush-booked are accommodation, only to find that it was lovely!! Kinga, and her pet turtle Johnny, were really friendly and helpful! Kings even took pictures of our stupid drunk antics! The room we shared was a 6 bed private room. It had a nice balcony that allowed you to look out onto the hustle and bustle of Budapest!
There were no noise from other hostel users, they were all very friendly, though seemed to spend more time in the hostel than out! After a really really really heavy night on the beer, we arose late for breakfast.... Though for the staff this was not a problem... Breakfast was served!! Overall, the hotel was nice and clean, the staff were friendly and the location was near most things... There's a Tesco almost next door!
While staying here, if on a Saturday, visit the Spa Party (ask kinga) it was epic.

I have stayed here at the Njoy for 6 days now. The entire staff, Gabor, Oliver, Kinga, Amanda, et al., are very helpful, cheery, and welcoming. This is not a chain hostel; this is more of a home type feel, no wonder because it is run by a family. In terms of facilities: rooms are spacious (no bunks!) with tall ceilings, there is a full kitchen with a big table to sit around with your newly-made friends, there are two bathrooms which are always clean, a common room with comfy couches, computers with internet access, wifi, and all the help you could ever need to get around Budapest.

The staff guided me around the little details to see the city, and no matter what my query, they had the answer.

The location is central to the city, it is a 5 minute walk to the Danube, a 1 minute walk to the metro, a 5 minute walk to the shopping district, etc... Im the kind of person that likes to walk everywhere and I lucked out with the location of this place.

Oh yeah: Sundays is homemade dinner time. The owner comes in, cooks a hearty meal for everyone. I had 4 plates!!!

Incredible value for money. Really cute hostel with brightly painted walls. The beds are cozy, comfortable and the hostel is extremely clean and homely. The receptionists have some good recommendations in case you end up in the city and don't know what to do. They will help you out with tickets for pub crawls, thermal baths etc. The hostel also offers free breakfast and free coffee, tea throughout the day. They also have slippers, shampoos, towels etc. that you could use for free. A very happy place to be! Don't think twice before boooking this hostel. Just do it! :)
