stayed for 3 nights in march, the hotel is exactly like the photos you see on all the sites so no suprises when you arrive, the front desk was always manned and all the staff very helpful and pleasant, had a superior room which was ideal for the time we were there, the free internet was great especially as there is a pc in the room so no need to take a laptop with you, breakfast was really good you had a small buffer with bacon and eggs and sausage with also a choice of cheeses and cold meat and also cereal, you could also get stuff made for you, there are restaurants and gift shops and also a 24 hour small supermarket within a few minutes walk, it was about a 30 minute walk to the chain bridge and over to the castle and district

I have a great experience with this hotel. We came there in couple to spend a winter weekend. We were positively surprised there. The hotel lobby is in pretty classic style, front desk staff veyr polite and helpfull. We were also surprised with quality of the room. There was a massage bathtub, bathrobes and coffe and teas facilities in the room. Breakfast was nicely set with selection of hot egg meals made fresh upon request. Service staff was also very friendly. I can recommend to book the entrance to the Spa Gellert or Szecheny directly at the reception, the cost is the same but you have a priority dest at the Spa so in higher season you avoid to stand a long queue. We didn´t have dinner there but we had lunch there becasue there was a special happy our. there is already pretty good value for money in their menu but with 50% off it was amazing! The food was nicely presented and it was obvious that the level of cuisine is pretty high there. The location is just in the end of famous walking street called Vaci utca. There is plenty of restaurants and cafe but it is worth to have lunch or dinner in the hotel, the cuisine is really fine there, not mentioned friendly staff again. We were told that the hotel was completly refurbished which is obvious. I really like this place and hope to plan another trip there.

Room Tip: the street is not noisy and without traffic, ask any room with hydromassage bathtub, thjis is really...

I found this hotel on agoda for a very good price (around 50€/night, incl. breakfast). It is a small new hotel, very clean and the personnel is helpfull and friendly. The room was furnished with a good bed, a safe, a minibar and a computer with TV and internet on it. The bathroom was also well equiped with a jacuzzi, blowdryer etc.
The breakfast in the morning was good with friendly personnel. Recently the hotel opened a small wellness department, with a plunge pool, hot tub and a sauna. I think you can also have a massage there.

The location is very good, at the end of vaci utca near the big indoor market. On the other side of the bridge is Gellert Hill. The metro and trams are just around the corner.

We enjoyed some great restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood, like Italian Trattoria, Borsso and Dionysos.

So If you are looking for a comfortabel, friendly, well equipped and good located small hotel that is really value for money, do not look any further!

We stayed for 2 nights at the Residence Baron. We had checked out early from a different hotel (which was horrible) and booked a room at the Baron. I wished I would have stayed the whole 4 days at the Baron. The room was beautiful and well stocked with amenities. We had robes, a jacuzzi tub, a computer, free wireless internet, hair dryer, ect. The room was large and was bright with large windows. The whole hotel is non-smoking, which is a rarity in this part of Europe. This hotel is definately a 4 star and for the price, a very good value ($75 per night) It is right across the street from the Central Market, so it is in a good location for exploring the city. Don't hesitate to stay here. The front desk was very helpful too. I did not get breakfast included, so I cannot comment on the food. I believe we did have an executive double room, so the other rooms may be smaller, but we booked a standard double.
