We spend four nights at the big Anno Apartment during our visit to Budapest. The apartment had a small dining room with a full kitchen; 1 toilet and 1 bathroom; and 2 big bedrooms with one double bed each. It includes all necessary tools for cooking, cleaning products, oil, salt, towels, toilet paper, etc.
Although the apartment is situated in an old building, the interior is newly refurbished with an old-style decor. Due to its age, the building does not have an elevator, so it may be an inconvenient for old people. Unlike most hotels and apartments we stayed in this trip, the Wi-Fi Internet worked perfectly.
The only real inconvenient we can find to this apartment is that as there are some bars and pubs nearby, it is pretty noisy until late in the night. Although bedrooms have double windows, they did not insulate from noise at all. So if you are delicate in terms of noise when sleeping you may consider an alternative.
The location is very appropriate to visit Budapest. It is 5 minutes away from the Metro and Tram stops in Blaha Lujza tér. Public transport in Budapest runs perfect, so we totally recommend purchasing Travel Cards for the days of your stay (NOT Budapest Card) at the Metro ticket office.Furthermore, there is a SPAR supermarket 5 minutes away in Erzsébet körút.
All in all, we had a great experience and recommend visiting Budapest and staying at Anno Apartments during your stay.
