Impeccable and warm service, home cooked food, cute surroundings, just off the tacky tourist street so easy to find. This family cook with quality ingredients, passion and love.

“Traditional Delicious Hungarian Meal”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

We liked everything about this restaurant. It was recommended by our hotel. The owner/waiter was friendly. The food was delicious - prepared by his wife. We had a thoroughly enjoyable and leisurely meal here - our best meal in Budapest!

“Good but?”
Reviewed 19 July 2014 via mobile

Foods are ok but prices are high. Menu is quite extensive. Foods are quite good but be careful on prices. We paid app. 80 € for two person without vine.

Thank you for your comments, which are a bit misunderstood. The most expensive meal chosen from the menu (roast lamb and goose liver), as soon as prices are shown. Drank no wine, but instead of other beverages, yes. The amount of the invoice included the appetizer, two main dishes, dessert and drinks in the price as well.

“Food, wine and music”
Reviewed 19 July 2014 via mobile

What a great restaurant.
We arrived early evening whilst the restaurant was quiet and had the undivided attention of the owner / chef and his family. We had a taster starter of mixed traditional Hungarian platter with three different 'creams'. Delicious. This was followed by Chicken Paprika then Floating Islands to finish.
The food and wine were excellent.
The service was impeccable and nothing was too much trouble

On 3 evening each week there are three musicians (violin, double bass and cymbalom) who were very professional and played with feeling. This added to the atmosphere and the setting.

The final bill was very good value for money. Choose this restaurant and I am sure you will be very satisfied.
