Very easy to find, lots of different stalls offering fruit, veg and traditional Hungarian meats on level 1. Lots of souvenir and food outlets to enjoy in level 2, quite touristy but a very nice place to look round and buy the generic tourist tut.

Not big.. but just OK..nothing much.
Foods sold here are also just average.
Doesnt really leave me any impression.
Amazing place, great architecture and the best place for souvenirs and fresh produce. It’s a real sensory overload, from fruit and veg, paprika, Tokaj, to other Hungarian specialties. Worth visiting.
It’s.... a great big market hall. Architecturally impressive inside and out. Food section, clothes section all in own areas across two floors. Quite busy but a spectacle to behold. I would recommend a visit for the experience.
There are three floors to this market and each layer has its own appeals. The ground floor has lots of stalls of fresh vegetables and all sorts of meats. Upstairs there are some sit down restaurants and many little food stalls. The upstairs also boasts a lot of stalls that have lots of things ranging from trinkets to embroidered shirts and table clothes. The basement is all about fresh fish and meat but also has a full grocery store.
This is a very interesting and must see Site in Budapest. The various stalls are very well organized and there is quite a variety of products to choose from. There is very limited bargaining with the various vendors but it does pay to do some comparison shopping as prices do very.
The chocolates are rather expensive and are in fact cheaper at the duty-free at the airport.
I would skip the food vendors on the third floor and across the road we found some really good restaurants with better quality food and far less crowded.
But this is A market that should be visited.
