Wifi strong signal everywhere. Pools are great, clean and spacious. Breakfast is extraordinary with choice and quality of food! Dogs are really welcome! There is only problem with garage if you have a bigger car, and the price of parking is same as garage which is not fair :-)

We recently came back from Budapest where we had a 3 nights stay in Aquincum Hotel.
The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms were clean and the beds were amazing! However, we did find that the concierge staff where not as we would have expected for a 5* hotel. During the day we had some trouble finding them. We also had a small misunderstanding regarding the parking as it was mentioned on booking.com that the parking was free even though the hotel always had paid parking, not a big problem of course, but a little disappointed in the beginning. And also there was no mentioning on booking.com about the deposit one should pay at check in.

However, the stay was very nice, the location was good because we had our car, otherwise it is a little far from the city center and there is no metro around, just buses and trams.

The indoor pools were very relaxing, thermal water with different temperatures.

As for Budapest, it's an amazing city, so green and clean, not to mention the architecture and the views! Would return any time.

Room Tip: If you are a smoker, ask for a smokers rooms as you are not allowed to smoke anywhere in the hotel o...

We recently stayed at the hotel for a weekend break and found the hotel staff to be extremely helpful in arranging transfers to / from airport and in making recommendations for dinner.

The room and bed was comfortable, with a decent bathroom. The spa facilities are excellent, though it was extremely popular during our stay and so was a little crowded at times. My girlfriend advises that the massages are amazing!

As for the few negatives: not centrally located (but not a problem by taxi), our room was on the first floor by the main entrance (and main road) and so wasnt silent at night. Our curtains also didnt provide full blackout from sunlight and street lighting.

All in all a wonderful stay at a great rate (we took advantage of the promotional offer they were running).

We stayed in an executive room at this hotel, it was spacious and comfortable- especially the beds and bedlinen. Nice French toiletries provided in the bathroom. It is well worth the extra that booking an executive room costs as you get access to the lounge for a free and very good breakfast, tea, coffee and a huge range of snacks are also available all day.
The hotel's spa facilities are excellent, two pools of different temperatures, a solarium and saunas.
I had some complex arrangements for the staff to sort out and must compliment their efficiency and attention to detail in doing so, particularly the restaurant supervisor.
A very good hotel, only downside is that it a bit of a way out of town so you have to use public transport.- therefore maybe not one to use if you want to do lots of independent sightseeing but if you want to an relaxing and very comfortable break definitely the place.

Myself and my wife and son aged 14 recently stayed at this hotel for four nights. We didn’t enjoy the experience and I will explain why. While the hotel looks nice and modern from the outside the location is not great, it is a minimum 40 minutes’ walk to any of the city’s attractions. The hotel has a shuttle facility but this is a standard car which was rarely available. The rooms are very basic, definitely not a five star, we regularly stay in the Premier Inn chain in the UK and the rooms there would be of a higher quality. The reception staff were not helpful with general queries while the bar staff – one tall guy who was there most of the time was very rude, we also discovered that if you charged anything purchased in the already overpriced bar/restaurant on to your room it attracted a further 27% service charge! The price of drinks in the bar was a total rip off, at least three times more expensive than outside. The hotel restaurant had a terrible selection of food, which was never very hot, the staff at both breakfast and dinner had very little English and were never helpful. There was no children’s option for food, to get some French fries for my son was a major ordeal or on most occasions impossible. The swimming pool/spa area while nice in appearance was staffed by the most obnoxious and threatening looking life guards who must have worked in the Soviet dominated era of the country’s history, the slightest splash from children in the pool or any movement of the pool furniture brought the immediate attention of the lifeguard on duty and a scolding for the unfortunate child, they should not allow children in if they don’t expect a splash or two! To wrap up every night at 23:00 hours a prostitute came in to the hotel bar/lobby area and hung around waiting for potential clients. This is not a nice hotel, it is in a poor location and staffed by rude unhelpful employees, it is not suitable for families and not worthy of your custom.
