Ive stayed at this hotel most of the times I've visited Budapest, its got a perfect location for the tourist along the river. Its a very nice hotel, great gym, good food and reasonable convenient. Also, if your on the club level, the lounge is quite good and has much of the top floor with an excellent outdoor overlook area with sweeping views of the city.

the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was sparking clean, the bed was extra confer also because we have the river view that was just amazing; the mini cake bar in the lobby was great, cost about £6 unlimited on the cake and fruit plus a tea or coffee. also the life music, very relaxing. we had our dinner in the hotel restaurant, it was great, fresh food cooked by professional chef, we were really satisfied everything while we stayed. This is our second time in Budapest, last time we stayed in Hilton, we were very pleased, but Marriott has hight lighted our whole trip this time, can't wait to go back and stay in Marriott again :)

From the outside it is not as spectacular looking as some but the welcome inside is very friendly, staff very helpful. Stayed B/B, breakfast very good choices. Rooms comfortable, dark wood, not to everyones taste, But heh! Don't concern yourself too much about the room inside, take in the marvellous views of the Danube and Buda Castle, etc. Be aware of the scrumptious pastry bar ,you can definitely pile on the pounds. Hotel very well situated for walks along promenade, to shops restaurants and across bridges. We enjoyed the many places to visit bus tours including Gellert Hill Freedom Square, Fisherman's Bastion, Royal Palce(changing of the guard) Cruise along the Danube. Walk up to the top of St. Stephens Cathedral(370) steps. Don't be a chicken I'm 75. Other places you should visit are Heroes Square, Marzipan museum and particularly the Houses of Parliament ,if available tour inside and a talk of the history of the square, etc., you realise the events that occurred over past years. See the flag with the hole , made by studets many years ago protesting about Russian occupation at that time. Budapest is a city steeped in memories and history.and well worth a visit. You won't reget it.

We stayed here for 3 nights on the concierge floor. Great location on the river and walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Lovely views across the river from our spacoius well furnished room. Food in the concierge lounge was excellent. Great choices and variety. In the evening they offered hot and cold appetizers as well as soft drinks, wine and spirits. This lounge also included an outside terrace overlooking the river.
Really nice beds with soft bedding - very relaxing.

Hotel is right on the Danube, so we got a great view of the River and the Castle Hill District. The staff spoke excellent English and gave us very good tips as to how to get around. The hotel is a 5-10 min walk to the metro, plus a short walk to the Chain Bridge leading to the Castle Hill district. We had the breakfast buffet included and it was the best I've ever seen, including American, European and Asian tastes. You canbuy metro/tram tickets in the gift shop. There are safes in the rooms locked by a credit card or you could use a safe deposit box for free at the main desk. Would definitely stay there again if the chance came up
