Quiet hotel, close to the most. A 30 min walk and you have reaced a lot of the things you just must see. The breakfast got it all. The service was good, helpt us with ordering taxi and told the price. Our room nice and clean.

We spent 4 days here on a city trip.
The hotel is located in a smalle street close to the chain Bridge, connecting the center of Pest with Buda, very central. The staff at the reception was very helpfull and friendly, they checked opening hours of museums, arranged visits etc.
Breakfast was richly served in buffet, with lots of choice. Rooms are clean and modern, bathrom tough is rather small bur fully equiped.
For us , being on a city trip it was a very good and pleasant stay.

the hotel is located in a good spot BUT the room was not clean (the carpet had stinks all over and dast was a friend) and the reception service is the worst ever. The first day i asked for a taxi to go to my office and i paid double the price that i paid on my way back in the afternoon. When i asked the reception why's that they start telling me about traffic and distance and i said guys it was the same in the morning as it was in the afternoon. For the next 4 days i asked them to call my prefered taxi companies in Budapest and every morning and afternoon i was still paying half of the price that i paid using the taxi company that the hotel called. I will never choose that hotel again

We liked this hotel primarily due to excellent location - quiet and tucked away but within very easy reach of the Castle, Chain Bridge (and hence Pest), excellent budget restaurants - but also breakfast within the price and good, comfortable beds. The windows open so you are not dependent on air conditioning. It's certainly not a luxury venue, but that's not what we paid for. The decor is rather central European (almost 1980s). Tea-making facilities in the room but rather limited selection - coffee that comes complete with milk and sugar in one packet, Earl Grey tea. Take your own tea bags, powdered milk, etc. No lunch and evening meals at all but very good budget restaurants on Fő utca just below the hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms on the upper floors, especially on the North side have a better view (Danube, parliament and t...

Lokated near the Chain Bridge and the Palace. A short walk to Tram and Underground stations. good and rich breakfast buffet. The best way to reach the hotel from the airport is using the Airport shuttle service. A very convenient and low priced door to door transportation.

Room Tip: If you like a quiet room - ask for one at the back side!

The location of the hotel is great, near the famous Chain Bridge on the Buda side of the city. Many of the city attractions are within easy reach like Buda Castle, the Chain Bridge itself and the Fishermen's Bastion. The hotel is located in a steep cobbled street, making it hard for taxis to come close (some try going down backwards). Otherwise the room was adequate, mine was at level -1 (a garden room, meaning you could go out to a little terrace outside the room). Cleaning the room was done promptly and the lady doing so even came back later to restock the minibar, as I was stopping in for a quick fresh up in between city visits.

The breakfast was good, with a good selection to choose from in both hot and cold dishes. There was plenty of staff cleaning and replacing dishes. There were different selections on several days. Unfortunately the hotel does not offer evening meals, something one might expect from a four star hotel. Furthermore the hotel was adequate, not offering anything special. The staff was helpful and obliging. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

Ideal location on the Buda side of the Danube. Very near Chain Link bridge so easy to go between Buda and Pest. Hotel at bottom of the hill up to the Buda castle/palace so location very good. Everything in walking distance in Budapest but trams and metro very easy to follow and we did not understand one word of the language. Hotel near to tram and bus stops. Rooms comfortable. Just shower cubicle in our bedroom, no bath and the bathroom on a whole was quite small but serviceable. We just wanted a base for our stay. Bed was very comfortable! Lighting in room not good though - quite dark but we only slept in the room. Breakfast was buffet style - only hot food was scrambled eggs and frankfurter style sausages every day, but there was fruit, yogurt, bread, meats, cheeses, toaster, pastries, tea and coffee so okay but not your full English! Staff all spoke English and were helpful. You can buy your Buda card at the hotel but suggest you have one day getting your bearings before buying the card which we did not use on the first day for travel, but it does get you discounts on some of the tourist attractions and restaurants so worth reading up on that before deciding on which day to buy it. Just 5 minute walk from the Danube and the Chain link bridge. Hotel only serves breakfast - no lunch or dinner but right outside the hotel is a cafe serving hot food and beer and just down the steps is a fantastic little Belgian restaurant with great food and Belgian fruit beers - a must visit restaurant and the prices were very very good!

Room Tip: Our room over-looked a courtyard, the front of the hote overlooks a small alley. No real views from...
